Alex Meyer Suffers Another Setback
Alex Meyer had another setback in his shoulder and will be shut down from throwing for another four to six weeks. Meyer missed the entire 2018 season, and suffered a setback in late August as well. It is unclear if the big righty will be ready for the start of spring training. Meyer had a 3.74 ERA and 75 strikeouts in 67 2/3 innings in 2017, and figures to compete for a rotation spot if he is healthy.
