Alex Killorn Nets Game-Winner In Game 4
7 years agoTampa Bay Lightning winger Alex Killorn put the Lightning up 3-2 with just over eight minutes remaining in Game 4, and it stood as the game-winner. Killorn corralled a feed from Ondrej Palat from behind the net, moved to his backhand and tucked it between the legs of Capitals goalie Braden Holtby. The goal was Killorn’s fifth of the postseason and first of the series. Before Game 4, Killorn hadn’t factored into a Lightning goal since Game 4 of the second round. Killorn came out on fire in these playoffs, scoring four goals in Tampa’s first three games. Since then, his production has declined steeply. He should be safely left off DFS teams unless his scoring becomes a trend.
