Florida Panthers center Aleksander Barkov will miss his second straight game on Saturday due to a lower-body injury. The Panthers captain sat out a 3-0 loss to the Nashville Predators on Thursday and will not participate in a tilt with the high-octane New York Rangers on Saturday. Barkov has tallied 18 goals and 66 points across 62 games on the season, adding 170 shots on goal and a hefty plus-23 rating to his ledger. Both the Panthers and Rangers are in the mix for the Presidents' Trophy as the NHL's top regular-season team as Florida sits three points back of the first-place Boston Bruins with two games in hand while the Rangers are just one point back with one game in hand.--Brenton Kemp
