Albert Pujols Brings Power, Little Else
4 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman/designated hitter Albert Pujols may not garner a ton of fantasy buzz this season but still drove in 93 runs last season. The 40-year-old slugger enters the season with 656 career home runs and may not be the feared hitter that he was of years past but posted his best slugging percentage (.430) since 2016. Pujols will be tasked with driving in runs around an improved lineup that will feature Mike Trout, newly signed Anthony Rendon and the hopefully healthy Justin Upton. There is plenty of depth at first base in fantasy but Pujols may be able to help rosters for short stretches during this 60-game sprint.
