Al Horford Ice-Cold Against Pistons
6 years agoBoston Celtics center Al Horford cooled down from his hot shooting from the previous game on Saturday against the Detroit Pistons. He scored a measly four points, on 2-for-8 shooting and missed all five of his three-point attempts. Horford didn't do much else to make up for his lack of scoring, with just four rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block in 21 minutes. The Celtics cruised to victory in this one, which explains the lack of minutes for Horford, but he did not do much of anything in that time. While he still can't find his shot this year, shooting just 41.3 percent from the field on the season, he’s made solid contributions in other areas. For instance, he’s averaged 7.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.7 blocks, and 1.5 three-pointers per game this season. Also, those assist numbers should go up once the rest of the Celtics find their rhythm, which hopefully won't be too much longer. Horford will look to bounce back from his terrible performance in a rematch against the Pistons on Tuesday night.
