Washington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson (toe) is expected to play against the Lions in Week 12. Peterson saw his second-fewest rushing attempts of the year in Week 11 and played just 26 percent of the team's offensive snaps with Derrius Guice back, and there's no reason to expect that usage to change this week.
