Adam Scott A Safe Option At The Scottish Open
5 months agoAdam Scott could be in line for a solid week at The Renaissance Club. The 43-year-old Tour veteran has only missed the cut in two of 15 starts in the 2024 calendar year, a span of golf that has included seven top-25 results and no finish worse than his T45 at The Players Championship back in March. And despite a missed cut last year in his only Scottish Open appearance in North Berwick, Scott appears to be an excellent course fit statistically. He's gained strokes in every major category over the last 24 rounds, in addition to ranking ninth in driving distance, 58th in weighted approach play, 20th in weighted around-the-green play, 26th in bogey avoidance and 23rd in putting on slow greens. Scott projects as a cut-maker with top-20 upside this week, which could be enticing to fantasy managers at his $7,300 DraftKings salary.
