Columbus Blue Jackets center Adam Fantilli scored a hat trick during their victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday evening. Fantilli opened the scoring with a power-play in the first period. Later in the second, Fantilli would find the back of the net again, this time during 5-on-5 play. Later in the third, Fantilli would score the empty-netter to put the game out of reach. Since the start of January, the 20-year-old has scored 11 points (seven goals, four helpers) across 10 contests. During this span, he has averaged 2.7 shots on goal per game and has held a +8 rating. The former third-overall pick has begun to find his footing at the NHL level. He remains a must-start player in all standard formats as he continues this stretch. He will look to stay hot on Thursday against the Carolina Hurricanes.--Andy Smith
