Edmonton Oilers forward Adam Erne and Montreal Canadiens forward Mitchell Stephens have both cleared waivers and will remain with their current organizations. Erne, 28, has appeared in 23 games with the Oilers, recording one goal, two points, and nine penalty minutes in that time. He also has one goal and a minus-five rating across four games with the AHL's Bakersfield Condors. Stephens, 26, has tallied two goals and three points with the Canadiens across 23 games but also has a solid 12 points and a plus-seven rating across 16 games with the AHL's Laval Rocket. Interestingly, both Erne and Stephens were 33rd-overall draft picks by the Tampa Bay Lightning, Erne in 2013 followed by Stephens two years later in 2015.--Brenton KempRead More News
