Adalberto Mondesi Homers In His Return To The Lineup
Kansas City Royals shortstop Adalberto Mondesi returned to the lineup on Wednesday against the Detroit Tigers after missing about two weeks due to a left hamstring strain. He went on to hit a solo home run in the game, his third home run of the year. It was his only hit in the game as he went 1-for-4. Mondesi has only managed to play eight games this year due to his multiple stints on the injured list, but he's given fantasy managers a lot to like when active. Through his eight games he's slashing .345/.345/.759. He only has one stolen base on two attempts, but fantasy managers can safely expect some gaudy steals numbers going forward if he's able to stay on the field.
