Aaron Rodgers Disappoints In Consecutive Games

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers threw for only 233 yards on 31-for-50 passing with one touchdown in a Week 13 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. This was the second lackluster performance from Rodgers in as many weeks. Green Bay’s offense has been dysfunctional for years but Rodgers has always found a way to overcome it. However, it seems to be too much this season with the surrounding talent worse than it has ever been. Additionally, the knee injury Rodgers suffered at the start of the year is clearly still in the back of his mind and it has affected the way Rodgers throws and moves around the pocket. Rodgers’ frustration has been very evident both during the games as well as to the press. There was inclement weather, but this game should have been one of the easiest matchups for Rodgers all season. With the direction things are going, it is starting to become hard not to question Rodgers’ status as an every week start. Especially with Green Bay all but eliminated from the playoffs.
