A.J. Pollock Brings Positive Lefty Splits Into Game 1
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder A.J. Pollock will have a favorable matchup against Nationals Game 1 projected starter, Patrick Corbin, on Thursday. Pollock, once again, battled injuries this season but enters postseason play ready to contribute. He could produce right out of the gate against the Washington left-handed starter as Pollock has thrived against lefties this season. Through 99 at-bats, the veteran is slashing .323/.370/.535 against southpaw's and also has been clutch with runners in scoring position overall. Pollock is posting a sterling 1.023 OPS with 36 runs batted in covering 74 plate appearances in RISP situations. He will be a sneaky fantasy play with a high ceiling Thursday against the Nationals.
