A.J. Minter Will Likely Pitch Out Of 'Pen in 2018
7 years agoAtlanta Braves pitcher A.J. Minter is an unknown right now. The 24-year-old lefty came up to Atlanta in September and pitched in 16 games, with a 3.00 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP. He struck out 26 in 16 innings. Right now, it looks like Minter is going to be one of the cogs in the bullpen to get to closer Arodys Vizcaino. If Vizcaino goes down and Jose Ramirez falters, Minter could step into the closer's role. He could be worth scooping up then. Until that happens, keep your eye on how he does.
