4 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers are signing veteran free-agent wide receiver Jaron Brown, adding further depth to their wide receiver corps. It's been an eventful past week at the wide receiver position for the team. The 49ers signed fellow veteran wide receivers J.J. Nelson and Tavon Austin, yet they also lost wide receiver Jalen Hurd (knee) to a torn ACL. Brown spent the past two seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, playing sparingly and compiling just 220 yards on 16 receptions. He likely won't have a significant role in the offense, but he at least gives the team more veteran depth at the position. San Fran is also bracing for Deebo Samuel (foot) to potentially miss the beginning of the season.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
