2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback Trey Lance (ankle) has a timetable of four to six months after he broke his fibula and tore the deltoid and sesamoid ligaments in his ankle. The expectation is that Lance won't return this season. However, the 49ers remain committed to Lance as the future of the team under center. At the moment, Jimmy Garoppolo will start under center and is a capable option for this offense. The upside is certainly there with Lance. Dynasty fantasy managers should ride this out because it could pay off in the end. However, fantasy managers in re-draft leagues can probably safely drop Lance for an active quarterback.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
