Phoenix-2 NASCAR Practice Speeds, Lap Averages, and Notes

Kyle Busch - NASCAR DFS Picks, Betting Picks, Daily Fantasy NASCAR

NASCAR Practice Speeds, Notes, and Lap Averages. Use these NASCAR stats and info to build lineups on DraftKings for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway.

The NASCAR Cup Series ran a single practice session at the Phoenix Raceway on Friday afternoon in preparation for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race on Sunday afternoon.

The field was split into two groups for this practice session.

Below you'll find the two practice groups, key notes from the practice session and the practice speeds for all drivers.

Important Practice Notes

Kyle Larson - Larson scraped the wall with his No. 5 Chevrolet late in practice on Friday. The damage was minimal and there seems to be no cause for concern from the Hendrick Motorsports team.

Kyle Busch - Kyle Busch was the fastest car in practice on Friday afternoon, but the car didn't look great when it came to "race speed." When it came to 20-lap average, the No. 8 Chevrolet tumbled down to 15th-fastest.

AJ Allmendinger - Kyle Busch made some contact with AJ Allmendinger during the practice session, but there was no major damage to report for either of them.
