Parris Campbell (WR, IND) - Week 5 Waiver Wire Pickups

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14-plus team leagues

OWNED IN: 5% of leagues

ANALYSIS: Slowly but surely, Parris Campbell has seen his role increase in the passing offense. The second-round rookie had just two targets and two catches in the first two weeks, but he's since had eight catches (11 targets) for 49 yards the last two games. His five catches on eight targets for 25 yards represented season highs across the board against the Raiders. Granted, his Week 4 production likely had a lot to do with T.Y. Hilton (quadriceps) sitting out, but it was good to see nevertheless.

The Colts should have to pass frequently again in Week 5 against the Chiefs on the road, so Campbell could be more involved again, even if Hilton returns to the field. His 13 targets (one less than Deon Cain and sixth on the Colts) leaves a lot to be desired, but his 76.92 conversion percentage is third on the team behind Hilton and running back Nyheim Hines.

Campbell could miss some practice time with an abdominal injury this week, so that's something to watch for, but ultimately we'd expect him to play Sunday. After the Week 6 bye, Indianapolis has a stretch of good matchups in three of their next four games (Texans, Steelers, Dolphins). By then, Campbell could be more of a staple as the No. 2 behind Hilton. There's definitely upside here in deeper leagues.
