NFL DFS Lineup Picks For FanDuel, DraftKings - Bills vs. Broncos Showdown Wild Card Weekend

Courtland Sutton - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Koby has his top NFL DFS lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings for today's Bills vs. Broncos showdown slate for Wild Card Weekend.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! Hopefully, everyone's first day of wild card weekend went well. We start the Sunday slate with one of the more lopsided games on the weekend. The Buffalo Bills (13-4) host the Denver Broncos (10-7) as an 8.5-point favorite.

We have been pretty successful so far with these showdown slates, and hopefully, that trend will continue from last year into this year. Most of us started our fantasy journeys with football, so it's always nice when it comes around. I'll do my best to provide you with as much in-depth analysis as possible regarding positional matchups.

I will provide you with daily fantasy football picks on FanDuel and DraftKings for the Bills vs. Broncos NFL DFS showdown slate on January 12. These NFL DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. If you have any questions, you can follow me on X @DFSKoby and fire away, or sign up for a premium RotoBaller NFL package and chat with me and other NFL DFS analysts whenever you'd like!

MVP/Captain Plays

Josh Allen - QB, Buffalo Bills - $18.6K (DK), $17.5K (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 3,731 passing yards, 28 passing touchdowns, six interceptions, 531 rushing yards, 12 rushing touchdowns

There is only one reason not to play Josh Allen as captain. He is damn expensive on this slate! With that being said, Josh Allen has finished with 20+ FP in 12 games this season and now gets a matchup against a Broncos team that gives up the eighth most fantasy points to opposing QBs this season. If you can't afford him as captain, he is a must-play in a flex position!

Courtland Sutton - WR, Denver Broncos - $13.8K (DK), $13K (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 135 targets, 81 receptions, 1,081 receiving yards, eight touchdowns

Courtland has been one of Bo Nix's favorite targets this season and now he gets an elite matchup against the Bills. Bills have allowed the fifth most fantasy points to WRs across the last four weeks. On top of that, he is lining up against Brandon Codrington who gives up .71 FP per route run this season which is the most on the slate by a large margin.

Other Captains/MVPs: Bo Nix, Khalil Shakir

DFS Flex Plays

Bo Nix- QB, Denver Broncos - $10.4K (DK), $15K (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 3,775 passing yards, 29 passing touchdowns, twelve interceptions, 430 rushing yards, four rushing touchdowns

Bo Nix will likely be playing from behind in this one. He has scored 19+ FP in five of the last seven weeks, and with a solid matchup ahead of him he gets a chance to do it once again. The Bills are giving up the third most fantasy points across the last four weeks to opposing QBs.

Amari Cooper - WR, Buffalo Bills - $6.8K (DK), $10.5K (FD)

I like Shakir a bit more but Amari's price is much better. I also like his matchup more as Cooper should be lining up against Riley Moss who is giving up .30 FP per route run this season. Not having to go up against Pat Surtain as much as possible will give Cooper an advantage in the field. In Cooper's last game too he finished with 14 FP against the Jets.

Other Flex Options: Marvin Mims Jr., Khalil Shakir, James Cook

DFS Value Plays

Devaughn Vele - WR, Denver Broncos - $5.2K (DK), $8K (FD)

The focus for the Broncos has been all on Marvin Mims recently, he has been going ballistic. But since Mims went up in price heavily, we are heading back down to Vele for some value.

Like I said with Nix, they will likely be playing from behind which should lead to Vele getting a decent amount of targets. When it comes to snaps, Vele has been second in that category for the majority of the season. The targets will come, and hopefully, he can do something with them.

Dawson Knox - TE, Buffalo Bills - $3K (DK), $6.5K (FD)

There is a severe lack of value on this slate. That being said we have to make it where we can. Kincaid is targeted quite a bit more than Knox but Knox is playing more snaps in recent weeks. Meaning the opportunity for Knox to make a play is there. With him being as cheap as he is, he truly is a shot in the dark but could pay off if he finds the endzone.

Other Value Plays: Keon Coleman, Tyler Bass

Enjoy your week, and good luck, everyone!
