NBA DFS Value Plays for FanDuel, DraftKings on 12/11/19

Dennis Clausen's FanDuel and DraftKings value plays for NBA DFS lineups on December 11, 2019. Target these cheaper options as daily fantasy basketball sleepers.

We have 11 games on the agenda in what should be one of the most competitive slates of the week. Tuesday night featured standout performances from the likes of Duncan Robinson, Kendrick Nunn, and Bismack Biyombo, who all crushed their respective values. With an abundance of players in danger of not playing (or have already been ruled out) on Wednesday, let's take a look at some of the guys who could benefit from a value perspective to help you crush some tournaments. Be advised that these picks are not without risk, and as always, be sure to monitor injuries right up until opening tip.

In this piece, we're looking deeper for low-cost value plays that can make or break a winning cash or tournament lineup for each DFS slate. Below are my NBA DFS value plays for FanDuel and DraftKings on 12/11/19, and can be as a result of injuries, suspensions, or any other situation that may increase a player/player's ceiling. These are projected swaps in the event of confirmed absence/absences, so make sure you're thoroughly informed with the latest NBA lineups and injury news before you start building your lineups.

Today's DFS Value Picks for FanDuel, DraftKings

Larry Nance Jr. - vs. HOU (5,500 FD, $4,200 DK)

While this is purely speculative at the moment, there is always a chance that Kevin Love sits out in either game of a back-to-back. If he is out, either on Wednesday against the Rockets, or Thursday in San Antonio, Nance will benefit and is averaging 12 rebounds and 11.6 points in 35 minutes while filling in for Love in three games this year. Cedi Osman, Darius Garland, and Collin Sexton will all also see a rise in fantasy potential if the veteran is out, with each seeing at least a 1.5 percent bump in usage.

Serge Ibaka - PF, vs. LAC ($5,400 FD, $5,200 DK)

With Fred Vanvleet dealing with a bruised knee, causing him to miss the Raptors last outing against the Bulls, Ibaka contributed 11 points and 14 rebounds. While he shot an inefficient 3-for-11 from the field, he has historically been more accurate than that, as evident by his 51.3 percent career shooting percentage. If VanVleet is out again, look for Ibaka to get more opportunities to produce on a night where Kawhi Leonard will make his return to Toronto.

Ben McLemore - @ CLE ($5,000 FD, 5,400 DK)

Eric Gordon has been sidelined after having knee surgery in the early part of November, and both Tyson Chandler and Austin Rivers are sick, with all three guaranteed to miss Wednesday's matchup in Cleveland. While Chandler and River's absences won't significantly impact coach D'Antoni's rotation, Gordon had a critical role as one of the only guys off of the bench to get meaningful minutes on a night-to-night basis. McLemore has benefited from Gordon's absence in terms of minutes, however, but he has only recently picked things up from a production standpoint, scoring at least 27 points in two of his last three games. The Rockets are projected to beat the Cavs with no issues at all, meaning Russell Westbrook and James Harden could sit more than usual, especially considering that Houston will have to play in back-to-back games this weekend. Keep an eye on Gary Clark as well, with the 25-year-old dropping 11 points and recording two blocks in the loss to Sacramento.

Jarrett Culver - vs. UTA ($4,900 FD, $4,300 DK)

Regardless of if Jeff Teague, who is currently dealing with an ankle issue, can play, Culver is still in line for minutes. His shooting has been streaky, but coach Saunders recently stated that this is not a cause for concern. Nonetheless, Teague may not suit up, and while Culver is a risk, the upside is there as well. His older brother, J.J. Culver, scored 100 points on Tuesday night in a college game while playing for Wayland Baptist University, so maybe it will rub off on him.

Maurice Harkless - @ TOR ($4,200 FD, $4,200 DK)

Landry Shamet is out, and JaMychal Green is doubtful, leaving the door open for Harkless to get some extra minutes. He has played well over the last few outings, combining for 19 points, 20 rebounds, two blocks, and two steals during that span. He should start over Patrick Patterson, and could come in handy for some much-needed salary relief if you are looking to roster guys like LeBron James, Anthony Davis, James Harden, and Giannis Antetokounmpo on Wednesday night.

Also Consider: D.J. Augustin (5,000 FD/4,800 DK - if Markelle Fultz is out) Terrence Ross (5,300 FD/5,000 DK), Donte Divincenzo (3,700 FD/$4,000 DK - boosts to Khris Middleton and Eric Bledsoe), Alex Caruso (3,900 FD/$3,900 DK - if Rajon Rondo is out), Avery Bradley (3,900 FD/3,500 DK), Joe Ingles (5,000 FD/$5,300 DK), Jaxson Hayes ($5,000 FD, $4,100 DK), Ersan Ilyasova (3,700 FD, 3,400 DK), Bismack Biyombo ($3,900 FD, $3,700 DK), Miles Bridges ($5,100 FD,  5,300 DK), Brook Lopez (5,200 FD, 4,900 DK)
