NBA DFS: Top Daily Fantasy Expert Picks for DraftKings, FanDuel (6/11/25)

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - Oklahoma City Thunder, NBA DFS, Fantasy Basketball

Free daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for today's slate on DraftKings and FanDuel. Use Zach's NBA DFS expert picks to build winning DFS lineups on June 11, 2025.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! After two days off, the NBA Finals are back in action on Wednesday night for Game 3 as the scene shifts to Indiana for an extremely important Game 3. Each team won one of the first two games in the series, and whoever emerges as the winner on Wednesday will have a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series. The Thunder led for the vast majority of the first two games, but some late heroics from Tyrese Haliburton helped the Pacers steal Game 1. Even on the road, the Thunder are five-point favorites in Game 3, but the Pacers have been very good at home in these playoffs.

Let’s break down the DFS angles for Game 3 and find the edges we can exploit. I’ll cover my top options for Captain's Pick and MVP, core flex plays, and a few value darts that could help unlock the rest of your lineup. As always, stay locked in throughout the day — news and injury updates can shift the entire slate, so be ready to adjust if necessary.

It's always essential to have a game plan and zero in on the best players and spots before making those adjustments. This article will provide my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 6/11/25. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our excellent NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 8:30 p.m. EDT on DraftKings.

Today's NBA DFS MVP/Captain Picks

These players make the most sense in the prime spot of your lineup. On FanDuel, that spot is called the MVP position, while on DraftKings, it's called the Captain. On both sites, whichever player is in this spot costs 1.5 times their normal salary but also produces 1.5 times their normal fantasy points.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, OKC - PG ($19.5 DK, $25.5K FD)

Gilgeous-Alexander claimed the NBA MVP Award this season and has played like an MVP throughout the playoffs for OKC. He had 55.25 DraftKings points in Game 1 and followed that with 61.75 DraftKings points in Game 2. He has totaled over 55 DraftKings points in four straight and six of his last seven, dating back to the series against Minnesota.

In the playoffs, he has a 32.7% usage rate and has averaged over 30 points per game with 6.8 assists, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game. He had multiple steals in each of the first two games of this series and will continue to get all the usage he can handle and plenty of opportunities to go off for a big total.

He's extremely expensive to build around, but his ceiling is high enough that starting with SGA still makes sense, as does figuring out where to save salary in other spots.

Alex Caruso, OKC - SG/PG (DK only)/SF (FD only) ($9.3K DK, $7.5K FD)

If you're paying up for a star, SGA is the clear top option, in my opinion, and brings both the highest ceiling and highest floor. If you go in a different direction at MVP or Captain, it makes sense to go with a cheaper play and then build multiple stars into your utility spots. The mid-range option that makes the most sense as Captain is Caruso, who has played an expanded role in this series since the Thunder have been going small and playing fast, a style that fits his and SGA's profile perfectly.

Caruso had 11 points, six rebounds, and 31.5 fantasy points in Game 1 of the series in 28 minutes off the bench. In Game 2, his non-scoring numbers ticked down a notch, but he dropped 20 points and finished with 26.25 DraftKings points. In the playoffs, he's producing 9.6 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.7 steals in 23.1 minutes per game. Still, with a larger workload, his multi-category production makes him relatively safe with the potential to go off for a big game in multiple ways as he serves as a spark plug off the bench.

Others To Consider: Tyrese Haliburton - PG/SG, Pascal Siakam - PF

Today's NBA DFS Utility

These players are ones you may want to add to your Utility spots!

Jalen Williams, OKC - SF/PF ($10.4K DK, $12K FD)

Williams has been a solid secondary option for the Thunder in each of the first two games of the series. He had 33.5 DraftKings points in Game 1 and 34.25 DraftKings points in Game 2, falling just short of 20 points in each game, but contributing solid rebounds and assists. He consistently produces in enough categories to be a strong utility play on most nights, and he has the potential to go off for a monster game.

In Game 4 against the Wolves in the Western Conference Finals, the Thunder needed a bounce-back win after getting crushed in Game 3, and Williams stepped up with a massive 34-point game that earned him over 50 DraftKings points. When the Thunder need him to step up, Williams has shown the potential to pop for a huge game, and it feels like a step-up spot for Williams on the road in Indiana.

Andrew Nembhard, IND - PG/SG ($6.8K DK, $5.8K FD)

Nembhard has been one of the most prominent performers for the Pacers throughout the playoffs. He has been reliable on both ends of the floor and remains very affordable in a utility spot despite his outstanding performance. He had exactly 28 DraftKings points in each of the series' first two games while playing 32 minutes in each contest. He is a cheaper version of Williams in that he consistently contributes rebounds and assists while also bringing the ability to explode for huge scoring games. His ceiling isn't as high as Williams' can be. Still, if the Pacers intend to take the lead in the series, they'll need Nembhard to continue his lockdown defense and also contribute clutch performances on the offensive end, as he has throughout the playoffs.

Others To Consider: Myles Turner - C, Aaron Nesmith - SF/SG (DK only)/PF (FD only)

Today's NBA DFS Value Picks

T.J. McConnell, IND - PG ($4K DK, $2.4K FD)

McConnell plays a Caruso-like role off the bench for the Pacers, coming in with the second unit and filling in the box score in multiple categories. He had a big Game 2 with 11 points, six assists, three rebounds, and 28.25 DraftKings points, but also had nine points and 17.25 DraftKings points in Game 1. The smaller lineups and free-flowing play give him a high ceiling, and his multi-category potential makes him a great value option as you round out your lineup. Especially on FanDuel, he seems very underpriced.

Aaron Wiggins, OKC - SF/PF ($3.2K DK, $1.4K FD)

Wiggins played a limited role in the last round of the playoffs against the Timberwolves, but the Thunder expanded his role in Game 2, and he came up huge alongside Caruso off the bench. Wiggins ended up with 18 points and 28.5 DraftKings points in 21 minutes after producing just four DraftKings points in nine minutes in Game 1. Whether it's a one-game outlier or a strategic adjustment remains uncertain, but he has thrived throughout the season when the Thunder have opted to go with smaller lineups.

He knocked down five threes in Game 2 after making just one three-pointer in the entire series against Minnesota. He seems like a good fit for this series, though, and the Thunder have been excellent at finding and exploiting mismatches throughout the interchangeable pieces in their rotation. Wiggins is a sneaky value play with a high ceiling and the potential to put up another big game.

Others to Consider: Cason Wallace - PG/SG, Obi Toppin - PF/C (DK only)

As the NBA playoffs heat up, so do the opportunities to win more in Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) on DraftKings and FanDuel. Staying informed on late-breaking NBA injury news is critical for success, so be sure to leverage RotoBaller’s expert insights and tools throughout the day to gain an edge on the field.

Whether you're grinding out GPPs or locking in safe cash game picks, a smart NBA DFS strategy can make all the difference. Good luck tonight, and may your lineups crush!
