DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Yusei Kikuchi at LAA ($9,200 DraftKings; $10,500 FanDuel)
Kikuchi has a 1.24 WHIP for the season, but he has a 0.98 WHIP since being acquired by the Astros. With his new squad, he has also racked up 53 strikeouts over 41 innings. His strikeout rate now sits at 27.6% for the season. His strikeout upside makes him an appealing target against the Angels, who have scored the fourth-fewest runs in baseball.
Tanner Bibee vs. TB ($8,300 DraftKings; $8,500 FanDuel)
Bibee has been a reliable member of the Guardians’ starting rotation, posting a 3.56 ERA that is backed by a 3.62 FIP. One of the keys to his success has been his 1.13 WHIP. Even his 26.3% strikeout rate is an increase from last season. This is a great matchup for him against the Rays, who have scored the third-fewest runs and struck out the sixth-most times in baseball.
Brady Basso at CWS ($4,000 DraftKings; $6,000 FanDuel)
In his first start for the Athletics, Basso logged six shutout innings against the Tigers. He struck out six batters along the way. He also missed plenty of bats in the minors, posting a 26.4% strikeout rate at Triple-A this year. The White Sox have scored the fewest runs in baseball, so Basso could be worth the risk in tournament play at his cheap salary.

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
William Contreras – C, MIL vs. Eduardo Rodriguez ($5,000 DK; $3,400 FD)
It has been a struggle for Eduardo Rodriguez, who has a 5.83 ERA and 4.85 FIP over six starts since coming off the injured list. He’s not really fooling anyone given his 13.5% strikeout rate and 11.5% barrel rate allowed. Contreras has a .237 ISO and a .414 wOBA against left-handed pitchers for his career, making this a matchup to target.
Willy Adames – SS, MIL vs. Eduardo Rodriguez ($4,700 DK; $3,700 FD)
Staying with the Brewers, Adames is also someone to target. Over his last 17 games, he has hit eight home runs. He has 30 home runs for the season, putting him one behind his previous career high in the category. He also has 102 RBI, surpassing his previous career high of 98 that he set in 2022.
30 HR. Career-high 101 RBI.

Spencer Horwitz – 1B/2B, TOR vs. Erick Fedde ($4,100 DK; $3,100 FD)
Horwitz has caught fire again, hitting 16-for-37 (.432) with four home runs and four doubles over his last 11 games. He has performed well in his rookie campaign, recording a .194 ISO and a .359 wOBA. This is a favorable matchup for him against Fedde, who has given up at least four runs in three of seven starts since being traded to the Cardinals.
Also consider: Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Isaac Paredes, Yainer Diaz
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Seiya Suzuki – OF, CHC vs. Austin Gomber ($5,700 DK; $3,800 FD)
Suzuki has some drastic home and road splits. At home, he only has a .157 ISO and a .323 wOBA. On the road, he has a .244 ISO and a .385 wOBA. Not only is this game on the road, but it will be at hitter-friendly Coors Field. It also works in his favor that he will face Gomber, who has a 4.79 FIP and has given up 1.6 HR/9.
Matt Wallner – OF, MIN vs. Julian Aguiar ($4,000 DK; $3,100 FD)
Wallner has a .310 ISO and a .403 wOBA across 64 games with the Twins. The downside with him is his 36.4% strikeout rate. Last season, he had a 31.5% strikeout rate across 76 games. Strikeouts might not be an issue for him versus Aguiar, who had a 20.6% strikeout rate at Triple-A this year. Over five starts with the Reds, he has an 11.6% strikeout rate.

Lawrence Butler – OF, OAK vs. Garrett Crochet ($4,000 DK; $3,000 FD)
Deploying Butler against a difficult lefty like Crochet might not seem like an ideal situation. However, with the White Sox limiting his workload, Crochet hasn’t pitched more than four innings in a start since June. Behind him is a White Sox bullpen that has the second-highest bullpen ERA and the second-highest bullpen WHIP in baseball. Butler could feast once Crochet departs from the game.
