Jose Ramirez - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury News

There are several day games on Wednesday, including a doubleheader between the Tigers and Pirates. After that, we’ll have seven games that will make up the main evening slates on DraftKings and FanDuel.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 5/29/2024, with the slate starting at 7:20 p.m. EDT. The lineup picks will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is also essential.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Shota Imanaga at MIL ($10,600 DraftKings; $10,800 FanDuel)

Imanaga hasn’t pitched since May 18 because his last scheduled start was called off because of rain. The Cubs took it as an opportunity to give their ace some added rest. He has been as good as it gets, posting a 0.84 ERA and a 0.91 WHIP over nine starts. The Brewers have struck out the ninth-most times in baseball, leaving Imanaga with even more upside for this outing.

Luis Gil at LAA ($10,300 DraftKings; $10,500 FanDuel)

Gil has been dominant in his way of recording a 2.11 ERA and 2.93 FIP. Not only does he have a 31.7 percent strikeout rate, but he has given up just 27 hits over 55.1 innings. The Angels have a compromised lineup because of injuries and have struck out the 11th-most times in baseball, making Gil one of the top pitchers to consider for this slate.

Alek Manoah at CWS ($8,300 DraftKings; $9,200 FanDuel)

After a stellar performance against the Rays, Manoah was hammered for six runs (four earned) over 4.2 innings in his last start against the Tigers. Still, he hasn’t allowed an earned run in two of his four outings this season while posting a 1.06 WHIP overall. The White Sox have scored the fewest runs in baseball, so Manoah could be worth the risk in tournament play.

Also consider: Justin Verlander at SEA

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Jose Ramirez – 3B, CLE vs. Ty Blach ($6,400 DK; $4,800 FD)

The Guardians took full advantage of Coors Field on Tuesday, scoring 13 runs. Ramirez was right in the thick of the offense, hitting 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI, four runs scored, and two walks. After hitting 24 home runs last season, he has already gone deep 16 times this year. A favorable matchup awaits him against Blach, who has a career 13.0 percent strikeout rate and 1.47 WHIP.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. – 1B, TOR vs. Chris Flexen ($5,000 DK; $3,800 FD)

After producing a 6.86 ERA and a 6.22 FIP last year, Flexen has a 5.69 ERA and a 4.83 FIP this year. Like Blach, he is not an overpowering force with his career 16.1 percent strikeout rate and 1.47 WHIP. Guerrero, who is 31-for-77 (.403) with a 1.021 OPS over his last 20 games, is one of the top infielders to target.

Davis Schneider – 2B/OF, TOR vs. Chris Flexen ($4,500 DK; $3,400 FD)

Schneider has been a pleasant surprise for the Blue Jays. He showed promise during his 35 games in the majors last season, recording a .328 ISO and a .424 wOBA. This year, he has a .220 ISO and a .365 wOBA. His career 28.1 percent strikeout rate isn’t great, but with how much Flexen struggles to miss bats, that likely won’t be an issue in this matchup.

Also consider: Josh Naylor, Bo Bichette, Anthony Volpe

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Aaron Judge - OF, NYY vs. Tyler Anderson ($6,000 DK; $4,600 FD)

Don’t get too excited about Anderson’s 2.52 ERA. His FIP stands at 4.30, and he has just a 17.1 percent strikeout rate. He has been aided by an abnormally low .209 BABIP allowed. Expect him to have his hands full with Judge, who has an insane 1.318 OPS over his last 32 games.

David Fry – OF/C/1B, CLE vs. Ty Blach ($5,000 DK; $3,900 FD)

Fry also thrived Tuesday, hitting 3-for-5 with a home run, three RBI, and three runs scored. He has a stellar 1.114 OPS for the season, thanks to his incredible .492 OBP. His .412 BABIP is not sustainable over the course of a long season, but he’s locked in right now, making him another great option to target on the Guardians.

Tyler Freeman – OF, CLE vs. Ty Blach ($4,100 DK; $3,600 FD)

The Guardians’ lineup is loaded with left-handed hitters. Freeman has become an important right-handed bat for them, hitting 16-for-53 (.302) with a .397 OBP across his last 14 games. Although he didn’t get a hit Tuesday, he did hit leadoff. At his reasonable salary, he could be well worth the risk for this favorable matchup at Coors Field.

Also consider: Juan Soto, Daulton Varsho, Mike Tauchman
