MLB DFS: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (4/2/25) - Today's Top Lineups

Zack Wheeler - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, MLB Injury nNews

The top MLB DFS daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel, DraftKings on April 2, 2025. CeeGee's MLB DFS sleepers picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

Greetings Rotoballers! We’ve got a tight four-game main slate tonight starting at 6:35 pm ET, and it’s packed with some juicy pitching options and bats that could light up the scoreboard. We’re talking big names like Zack Wheeler and Blake Snell on the mound, plus offenses like the Dodgers and Yankees that can go off any given night.

The weather looks mostly clear, maybe a slight rain watch in Philly and New York, but nothing to panic over yet. This slate is small, so finding the right mix of chalk and contrarian plays will be key.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 4/2/2025, with the slate starting at 6:35 pm EST. The lineup picks will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is also essential.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Zack Wheeler - PHI (DK $10K; FD $10.7K)

Wheeler’s the ace of the slate, and yeah, he’s expensive, but he’s a cash game lock against this Rockies lineup tonight. Colorado’s lineup isn’t scaring anyone vs. righties, high K-rates (28%+ from Ezequiel Tovar, Michael Toglia), and a .300-ish xwOBA from their top bats.

Wheeler’s 30.7% K-rate vs. righties and stingy .071 ISO allowed make him a nightmare in Citizens Bank Park. He’s projecting 8+ Ks with a great shot at a win. Lock him in for cash on both platforms; GPP upside’s there, too.

Blake Snell - LAD (DK $9K; FD $10K)

Snell is my GPP darling tonight against the Braves at Dodger Stadium. Atlanta’s got some thump vs. lefties (Matt Olson, Marcell Ozuna), but Snell’s 38.4% K-rate vs. lefties and 32.2% vs. righties are elite, and his .262 xwOBA allowed keeps runs in check. The park’s pitcher-friendly, and Bryce Elder’s shaky control could give the Dodgers an early lead. Snell’s a boom-or-bust pick, but he could flirt with 10+ Ks in this matchup. At $9K on DK, he's a bargain for his upside.

Garrett Crochet - BOS (DK $8.5K; FD $9.5K)

Crochet’s a sneaky value play facing the Orioles at Camden Yards. Baltimore’s lineup leans right-heavy, and Crochet’s 42.5% K-rate vs. lefties and 32.9% vs. righties are absurd. Guys like Jordan Westburg and Tyler O'Neill strike out plenty, and while Mountcastle can do damage, Crochet’s .270 xwOBA allowed limits the bleeding. Zach Eflin’s solid, so this could stay low-scoring, making Crochet a cash-viable option with GPP upside on both DK and FD.

Also Consider:

  • Zac Gallen - ARI - SP (DK $7,800; FD $8,800) - The Yankees bring serious torpedo bat power with bats like Aaron Judge and Cody Bellinger and Yankee Stadium’s hitter-friendly dimensions. Still, Gallen’s 25% K-rate and ability to limit hard contact (.308 xwOBA vs. lefties, .315 vs. righties) give him a fighting chance. He’s a mid-tier GPP pivot with upside if he can navigate the big bats and rack up six to seven Ks.

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Shohei Ohtani - LAD, 1B/OF (DK $6.4K; FD $4.5K)

Ohtani’s the slate’s top spend-up, and he’s worth it against Elder. Elder’s a soft-tossing righty with a 15.7% K-rate vs. lefties and a .372 xwOBA allowed vs Ohtani’s .392 ISO and .466 xwOBA vs. RHP scream mismatch. Dodger Stadium isn’t Coors, but Shohei’s power-speed combo could net a homer and a steal. He’s a cash game lock and GPP cornerstone on both platforms.

Ketel Marte - ARI, 2B (DK $5.6K; FD $3.8K)

Marte’s a stud vs. lefties, and Carlos Rodon’s been leaky vs. right-handed hitters (.217 ISO allowed to righties). Marte’s rocking a .327 ISO and .434 xwOBA vs. LHP, and Yankee Stadium plays friendly to power. He’s great for cash games, and his ceiling makes him a GPP stack anchor, too. Love him on FD as well.

Trea Turner - PHI, SS (DK $5.3K; FD $3.7K)

Turner’s a bargain facing Kyle Freeland, who’s got a brutal .370 xwOBA vs. righties. Turner’s .219 ISO and .349 xwOBA vs. LHP fit perfectly in Citizens Bank Park, where balls can fly. He’s been hot lately, and with Freeland’s low 17.5% K-rate, Turner’s a multi-hit, run-scoring threat. Cash game gold and a GPP booster.

Also Consider:

  • Jordan Westburg - BAL, 2B/3B (DK $4.4K; FD $3.6K) - Westburg’s .216 ISO and .341 xwOBA vs. LHP give him sneaky pop at Camden Yards, where right-handed power plays up.

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Jarren Duran - BOS , OF (DK $5.4K; FD $3.7K)

Duran’s my favorite outfield play against Eflin. Eflin’s steady but not overpowering (17.1% K-rate vs. righties) and Duran’s .255 ISO and .356 xwOBA vs. RHP scream upside. Camden Yards boosts lefty power, and Duran’s speed adds stolen base potential. He’s a cash game staple on DK and FD, with GPP juice if Boston stacks up.

Corbin Carroll - ARI, OF (DK $5.5K; FD $3.6K)

Carroll’s a lefty bat I’m targeting vs. Carlos Rodon. The Yankees’ southpaw has a .317 xwOBA vs. righties, but Carroll’s .184 ISO and .313 xwOBA vs. LHP still play up in Yankee Stadium. His speed’s a bonus—he could swipe a bag or score twice in a D-backs rally. Great for GPPs on both platforms; cash-viable on FD.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. - ARI , OF (DK $4.1K; FD $3K)

Gurriel’s a value gem vs. Rodon. His .173 ISO and .354 xwOBA vs. LHP are sneaky good, and at $4,100 on DK, he’s a budget way into Arizona’s lineup. Rodon’s 26.5% K-rate is legit, but Gurriel’s contact skills keep him in play. It's a cash game filler with GPP-stacking appeal.

Also Consider:

  • Aaron Judge - NYY - OF (DK $6.3K; FD $5K) - Gallen’s tough, but Judge’s .367 ISO vs. RHP is always a home run waiting to happen.
  • Tyler O’Neill - BAL - OF (DK $4.4K; FD $3.4K) - Crochet’s filthy, but O’Neill’s .431 ISO vs. LHP could go yard if he connects. GPP dart throw.

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

Los Angeles Dodgers (vs. Bryce Elder - ATL)

The Dodgers are my top stack tonight. Elder’s low-K stuff (15.7% vs. lefties) sets up Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, and Max Muncy to feast. Add Mookie Betts or Teoscar Hernandez for depth. Dodger Stadium keeps the ceiling modest, but this lineup can rack up 5+ runs any day.

Arizona Diamondbacks (vs. Carlos Rodon - NYY)

The D-backs are a GPP stack I love. Rodon’s vulnerable to righties, and Ketel Marte, Lourdes Gurriel Jr., and Randal Grichuk can exploit him. Toss in Corbin Carroll for speed and upside. Yankee Stadium’s short porch could turn this into a home run party. There is high risk and high reward on both platforms.

Philadelphia Phillies (vs. Kyle Freeland - COL)

Philly’s a cash game stack with GPP potential. Freeland’s .330 xwOBA vs. righties is a green light for Trea Turner, Alec Bohm, and Nick Castellanos. Bryce Harper adds lefty pop. Citizens Bank Park favors hitters, and the Rockies’ pen is shaky if Freeland exits early.
