Max Meyer is a fantasy baseball waiver wire stash for Week 15 (2024). Target Max Meyer as a top prospect free-agent waiver wire pickup for fantasy baseball.
BALLER MOVE: Stash in Standard Leagues
CALL-UP ETA: July
ANALYSIS: Miami Marlins starting pitching prospect Max Meyer could be rejoining the major league roster in the coming weeks and is worth stashing in all standard leagues.
Marlins manager Skip Schumaker told the media earlier in June that he expects their top prospect to return to the majors “soon” as the Marlins current rotation is decimated with injuries.
The 25-year-old made the major league roster out of Spring Training and delivered an impressive performance across three starts, boasting a 2.12 ERA, 0.82 WHIP, and a 3:14 BB:K ratio. His stellar command, with a 4.6% walk rate and an above-average 48.9% ground-ball rate, further showcased his potential.
Max Meyer held his own today against one of the best lineups in baseball.

Since returning to Triple-A, Meyer has struggled with a 6.00 ERA and 1.59 WHIP in 39 innings, but fantasy managers should not worry. He has proven that he can perform at a high level in the big leagues.
Meyer's strong pitching ratios and above-average strikeout production make him a great stash candidate in all formats.
