BALLER MOVE: Add In 14-Team Leagues

OWNED IN: 2% of leagues

ANALYSIS: After being traded back to the Cavaliers from Milwaukee along with John Henson in exchange for George Hill in a three-team deal including the Wizards, it has become apparent that the Cleveland fan-favorite Matthew Dellavedova is ready to start contributing immediately. Though he is still sharing time with fellow guards like Collin Sexton, Rodney Hood, and Jordan Clarkson, he is now the most natural floor general-type player on the Cavs roster and in three games is already averaging 21.3 minutes per outing. In that time on the court in his limited sample size with Cleveland this year he has averaged 12.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 0.7 steals per contest. Not only that, but since he has returned to the Cavaliers he has been jacking up shots from long-range at an increased volume of 4.3 shots per game, and has been sinking two of them per game for a success rate of 46.2% (giving him a solid three-point percentage on the season as a whole of 41.7% out of his 24 attempts).

People love Dellavedova in Cleveland and they are thrilled to see him back in significant minutes. Now that he is no longer receiving the cleanup minutes behind a slew of talented guards and play-makers for the Bucks, he has a wide-open opportunity to utilize his greatest strengths within the Cavaliers offense as a facilitator and energetic presence with a burgeoning impact from beyond the arc. He is already leading the team in assists per game, so (at the very least for the moment) in deeper leagues, Matthew Dellavedova is a multi-guard eligible asset who will offer well-rounded statistical production for fantasy basketball managers.
