ANALYSIS: LaMonte Wade Jr.'s breakout season continues to impress. He's slashing .279/.420/.463 with eight home runs through 61 games. Operating as the Giants' primary leadoff hitter, Wade is getting plenty of opportunities at the dish. Additionally, he has remained in the lineup more often than not against left-handed pitching, despite San Francisco's typically strict platooning on other hitters.

Looking under the hood, Wade's success doesn't appear to be a fluke. He sports a strong .387 xwOBA, .468 xSLG, .264 xBA, and 10.2% barrel rate.
