Junior Caminero is a fantasy baseball waiver wire stash for Week 13 (2024). Target Junior Caminero as a top prospect free-agent waiver wire pickup for fantasy baseball.
BALLER MOVE: Stash Everywhere
CALL-UP ETA: Late 2024
ANALYSIS: Tampa Bay Rays' top prospect Junior Caminero is one of the most exciting young players in the minors but injuries have delayed his call-up in 2024. Caminero missed about two weeks in April with a left quad strain, and he re-aggravated that injury in late May.
This time, though, his quad strain is expected to sideline him for four to six weeks. That means we likely won't see Caminero back at Triple-A Durham until at least July, delaying his call up to the major league level even more.

The lengthy absence of MLB Pipeline's No. 3 overall prospect is surely a tough break. He was hitting .261 with eight home runs, six doubles, and 24 RBI before his injury. However, even though he is expected to be out until July and likely not make his season debut with the Rays until later this year, he is worth a stash in every fantasy format. Caminero could emerge as a league winner for fantasy managers, given his potential in Tampa Bay's lineup later in 2024.
