Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb suffered a knee injury in Week 2 of the 2023 NFL season and has not played since then, but it looks like the Cleveland star is nearing a return.
That return could come as early as the team's Week 7 Monday night game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Nick Chubb Injury Update for Fantasy Football
The Cleveland Browns lost star running back Nick Chubb to a major knee injury, as Chubb torn his ACL, PCL, and MCL. This was the second time that Chubb has suffered a major injury to that same knee. He had two surgeries on it in preparation for his return.
But it certainly sounds like the Browns expect to have Chubb back on the field on Monday night when the team takes on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In his last full season in 2022, Chubb made his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl, carrying the ball 302 times for 1,525 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also added 26 receptions for 239 yards and a score.
Nick Chubb Fantasy Football Outlook
The Browns are in flux right now. The team traded wide receiver Amari Cooper this week and now welcomes Nick Chubb back into the fold, likely signaling an even bigger focus on the run game going forward.
That makes sense. Quarterback Deshaun Watson has struggled, so getting the ball out of his hands even more could be a winning combo.
Jerome Ford is currently dealing with a hamstring injury and could miss this game, allowing Chubb to serve as the lead back in his return.

However, after such a long layoff, it's hard to view Chubb as anything more than a low-end RB2 play this week. He has upside, but we really need to see how he's running the ball before we put too much trust in him.
