Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. suffered a concussion on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. The rookie star was targeted twice in the game but failed to bring in either pass.

Marvin Harrison Jr. Injury Update for Fantasy Football

With physical injuries, you get a bit of a timeline, but brain injuries are tougher to diagnose. We know that Harrison is in concussion protocol, but we don't know how he is progressing through that protocol.

It's possible Harrison plays in Week 7 since the Cardinals don't play until Monday so there's an extra day for him to get through the protocols, but fantasy managers should be prepared to be without him.

Harrison caught just one pass in his NFL debut, but even with two games factored in where he didn't go much statistically, Harrison has 17 catches for 279 yards and four touchdowns so far in his rookie campaign.

 

Marvin Harrison Jr. Fantasy Football Outlook for Week 7

Harrison playing on Monday makes things really complicated this week. Yes, it gives him an extra day to get ready to go, but it also means we won't have full knowledge of his situation until after most of our fantasy players have already played.

While the rookie star is a high upside option, we would opt to keep him on our fantasy bench if he isn't cleared by the start of the second window of games on Sunday.

Maybe you'll regret it if Harrison surprisingly plays Monday, but it's okay to just make the safest move.
