ANALYSIS: San Diego Padres infield/outfield prospect Graham Pauley was optioned to Triple-A on May 4 but could be back in the majors fairly soon.
Through 13 games in San Diego this season, the Duke product launched two home runs with five RBI and held a .125/.125/.313 line and a poor 0:15 BB:K ratio.
Unfortunately, his major league struggles have carried over into his return to Triple-A. He is riding an underwhelming .196/.328/.340 line with just two total home runs through 26 games.
However, in his past nine games, he has begun to find his footing with a .300 AVG and has only gone hitless once in this span.
