MLB Pitcher Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Logan Webb OVER 4.5 strikeouts (-140 DraftKings Sportsbook)
Let's start by attacking the worst team in terms of K rate against right-handers in the Detroit Tigers. Over the previous two weeks, the Tigers have posted a 28.8% K rate vs. righties while also posting just a 6.9% walk rate and 76wRC+ mark. Meanwhile, Webb has gone over this total in three of his previous five starts.
George Kirby OVER 5.5 strikeouts (+105 DraftKings Sportsbook)
Next, we will take a shot on some plus odds with Kirby as he has been relatively solid recently. He has struck out at least six in three of his previous four starts and is posting over a full K/9 higher at home this season than on the road. The Nationals have struggled since the trading of Josh Bell and Juan Soto, and are currently posting the seventh-highest K rate vs. righties over the previous two weeks with a rate of 24.0%.
Andrew Heaney OVER 6.5 strikeouts (-165 DraftKings Sportsbook)
The odds are a bit steep on Heaney, so he might be best to pair in a parlay. He will be facing the Brewers, who have struggled mightily against left-handed pitching as noted by their 33.9% K rate over the previous two weeks, ranking them dead last in baseball. Heaney has hit seven or more strikeouts in two of his previous four starts, one of which was a 10-strikeout performance against these Brewers in his most recent start.
