Dylan Cease OVER 7.5 strikeouts (+105 DraftKings Sportsbook)
This is a play on the odds as Cease has more than enough strikeout upside to get over the hump here. He will be facing the Royals who have posted the eighth-highest K rate against righties over the previous two weeks while posting a sub-100 wRC+ mark and an abysmal 5.5% walk rate. He has faced the Royals twice this season and managed to whiff nine batters in each start.
Framber Valdez OVER 6.5 strikeouts (-130 DraftKings Sportsbook)
This one will likely be tight, but Framber has gone over this total in two of his previous three starts and has a solid matchup against the Rangers. Over the previous two weeks, Texas has posted the highest K rate against left-handers with a rate of 31.4%. Framber has also posted a 9.85 K/9 at home compared to a 6.93 K/9 on the road, so this is definitely where he wants to be for this matchup.
Dean Kremer OVER 3.5 strikeouts (-155 DraftKings Sportsbook)
K props are slim pickings today and that is why we have Kremer in this spot against Boston. The Red Sox have been struggling lately and are posting a 25.4% K rate against righties over the previous two weeks while also posting just a 6.9% walk rate and 81 wRC+ mark. Kremer has failed to hit this prop in his two most recent starts, however, he had nailed it in six of his previous seven before that.
