Tee Higgins - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Welcome to Week 6 of the fantasy football season and the Saturday edition of our WR injury reports! Below you will find our fantasy football injuries report for wide receivers in Week 6, as of October 14th. The injury statuses for various NFL wide receivers are up in the air for Week 6, including Tee Higgins, Marquise Brown, Tank Dell, Zay Jones, and Robert Woods.

There are some big names on the injury report, with the status of some having little to no clarity for Week 6. Knowing exactly where each player stands going into the weekend is crucial! Being up-to-date on NFL injury news can give you an edge over your league mates in fantasy football.

Tee Higgins Injury Update

Tee Higgins suffered a rib injury in Week 4 against the Tennessee Titans and ended up missing last week's game against the Arizona Cardinals. After getting in limited sessions this past week in practice and ending the week as a full participant, the Bengals officially listed the 24-year-old as questionable for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks.

It is strange that Higgins is listed as a game-time decision despite getting in a full practice on Friday. However, this injury comes down to pain tolerance, so fantasy managers will need to watch for the Sunday injury report before locking him into their lineups. The Bengals No. 2 wide receiver is a bit of a risky play even if healthy, but Tyler Boyd and Trenton Irwin will see an increase in targets in a nice matchup against Seattle if Higgins is out again in Week 6.

Marquise Brown Injury Update

Marquise Brown has dealt with an illness this past week that has cost him practice time. While the 26-year-old was able to participate in practice to end the week, the Cardinals officially listed their top receiver as questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.

An illness rarely holds a player out of competition in the NFL, especially a player as important to the team's success as Brown is. With that said, keep an eye on reports this weekend, as the Cardinals play in the mid-day time slot, cutting down on pivot options for managers. Rondale Moore, Michael Wilson, and Greg Dortch will see an increase in targets if the young receiver misses this divisional matchup.

Tank Dell Injury Update

Tank Dell suffered a concussion during last week's game against the Atlanta Falcons. Initial reports on Friday listed the rookie as out for Sunday's matchup against the Saints. However, since then, the Texans have come out and listed Dell as questionable for the game after he participated in practice on Friday.

Dell is still in the concussion protocol and needs to clear it to be active on Sunday. He is truly 50/50 to play, and fantasy managers need to have a pivot option just in case the 23-year-old is unable to go. Robert Woods and top target Nico Collins should lead the charge if Dell is out, while tight end Dalton Schultz is in line to continue to roll and could have increased target share as well.

Zay Jones Injury Update

Zay Jones made his return to the field last week after missing Weeks 3 and 4 due to a knee injury. After leaving last week's matchup against Buffalo due to another knee injury, the 28-year-old is set to miss Jacksonville's Week 6 matchup against the division-rival Indianapolis Colts due to another knee injury. The team officially ruled him out on Friday.

There is a good chance Jones misses more than this week after not being able to make it through his return game last week, so fantasy managers will have to wait before throwing the Jaguars No. 3 option back into their lineups. Calvin Ridley and Christian Kirk will continue to dominate the target share, while tight end Evan Engram will work his way in as the third option.

Robert Woods Injury Update

Robert Woods suffered a rib injury during last week's matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. The injury has cost the veteran some practice time this past week, but the Falcons listed him as questionable for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints this Friday.

The 31-year-old should be able to suit up Sunday and could be playing the No. 2 receiver role if Tank Dell (concussion) is unable to clear protocol. Even though Woods has at least nine targets in three of five games this season, he has yet to finish inside the top 36 in Half-PPR formats. Woods will be a low-ceiling flex option for those in need if Dell is out.

Treylon Burks Injury Update

Treylon Burks suffered a knee injury in Week 3 against the Cleveland Browns and has not returned to the practice field since. The 23-year-old was ruled out by Tennessee for Sunday's London matchup against the Baltimore Ravens on Friday.

It is puzzling that the Titans did not put Burks on the Injured Reserve as this will be his third game missed in a row, and the team goes on bye in Week 7. Nonetheless, DeAndre Hopkins remains the only Titan's pass catcher who can be relied upon for fantasy purposes in a tough matchup against Baltimore's secondary in Week 6.

JuJu Smith-Schuster Injury Update

JuJu Smith-Schuster suffered a concussion during last week's loss to the New Orleans Saints and has yet to clear protocol. With no practice participation this past week, the Patriots ruled the veteran receiver out for Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Friday.

Smith-Schuster has done little to nothing for fantasy managers through five weeks, and his absence does little more than make tight end Hunter Henry a more reliable streaming option heading into the weekend. No New England wide receiver is a recommended starting option, even in a plus matchup against the Raiders in Week 6.
