Los Angeles Rams vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Sunday October 19, 9:30 AM ET - Wembley Stadium in London, England
Notable Fantasy Injuries:
- Puka Nacua - Out (Ankle)
- Brenton Strange - Out (Shoulder)
Matchups We Love
Matthew Stafford disappointed fantasy managers last week with his 181-yard, one-touchdown performance. However, look for Stafford to bounce back in Week 7. The Jaguars have allowed the fourth-most passing yards this season, and four different QBs have scored over 19 fantasy points against this defense over the last five weeks. That makes Stafford a strong QB1.
Rams WRs
Puka Nacua (ankle) will not play in Week 7. That will push Davante Adams into WR1 territory in a fantastic matchup. The Jaguars have allowed the third-most receiving yards to WRs through six weeks, and WR1s like Ja'Marr Chase (36.5 PPR fantasy points), Nico Collins (22.4 PPR fantasy points), and Jaxon Smith-Njigba (30.2 PPR fantasy points) have dominated this secondary in recent weeks.

WRs Tutu Atwell/Jordan Whittington
Both Tutu Atwell and Jordan Whittington can be solid flex plays in 12-plus team leagues. Atwell missed last week's game due to a hamstring injury, but he will be a sneaky flex option in his return. He averaged 12.2 PPR fantasy points from Week 3 to Week 7 last year while Nacua was out dealing with injuries.
Whittington also showed some promise during that stretch last season, as he scored above 12 PPR fantasy points in both Week 4 and Week 5. That makes both Rams WRs worth a look in some formats. The Jaguars have given up the seventh-most fantasy points to WRs this season. Of these two WRs, Whittington is the better play.
Matchups We Hate
After finishing as a top-24 RB in four straight games to start the season, Travis Etienne has scored under 10 PPR fantasy points in back-to-back games. Now, he gets a tough matchup against a Rams defense that has yet to allow a rushing touchdown. Given that Los Angeles has allowed the third-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing RBs, Etienne will be a riskier RB2 play.
Other Notable Matchups
QB Trevor Lawrence
Even though the Rams have allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points to QBs this season, this defense has also played QBs like Cam Ward, C.J. Stroud, and Cooper Rush to start the season. So, this isn't necessarily a tough matchup for Lawrence. With back-to-back top-12 QB finishes, he will be a solid QB1 option in 14-plus team leagues.
Kyren Williams will continue to be an RB1 option for fantasy managers in Week 7. He has finished as a top-12 RB in three of the past four games while playing above 75% of the team's offensive snaps in every game but one. Since the Jaguars have allowed three 18-plus PPR scorers at the RB position this year, Williams is a must-start.
Brian Thomas Jr. had his best fantasy game of the season last week, totaling eight catches for 90 yards and one touchdown. That performance marked the second straight game that Thomas has totaled at least 80 receiving yards. As a result, he will come in as a solid WR2 play this week. The Rams have allowed three WRs to total over 90 receiving yards in three of the last four games.

Travis Hunter played WR more than usual last week, as he played a career-high 59 snaps there. However, that increased offensive snap share didn't correlate with much fantasy success. He scored just 5.5 PPR fantasy points. Therefore, Hunter is still a risky flex play in most leagues. He has scored under 10 PPR fantasy points in all six games this season.
