Bears vs. Eagles Start 'Em, Sit 'Em (Black Friday) - D'Andre Swift, AJ Brown, Rome Odunze, DJ Moore, Kyle Monangai, DeVonta Smith, Colston Loveland, Dallas Goedert, Caleb Williams, Saquon Barkley

Kyle Monangai - Fantasy Football Waiver Wire, Draft Sleepers, Rankings

Fantasy football start em, sit em lineups advice for the Bears vs. Eagles Black Friday game in Week 13 (2025). NFL matchups analysis and starts/sits.

For the third straight season, the NFL will have a game on Black Friday. This year's game is between the Chicago Bears and the Philadelphia Eagles. These are two of the top teams in the NFC, as both the Bears and Eagles come into this game with an 8-3 record. Chicago is coming off a nice win against the Steelers, while Philadelphia blew a 21-0 lead and lost to the Dallas Cowboys.

For fantasy purposes, this game will have plenty of solid starts. Fantasy managers can start multiple players on both teams, and this game could feature a lot of fireworks. These two offenses are averaging over 23 points per game this year.

So, here are the best starts and sits for Friday's game against the Bears and Eagles.

Editor's Note: The FFPC Playoff Challenge is back with a massive $500,000 grand prize and $1.35 million total prize pool, paying down to 800th place. Here's the deal: no salary cap, no draft, no pickups, no subs. Choose 10 players, and as NFL teams get knocked out so will your players, so choose your team wisely. The 7,250 entries will sell out quickly, and registrations will close on Saturday January 10th at 4:30 pm ET . Matchups We Love

QB Jalen Hurts (PHI)

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is coming off his best fantasy game of the season. He scored a season-high 30.9 PPR fantasy points behind a three-touchdown day. Given that Hurts has finished as a top-12 fantasy QB in nine of 11 games this year, fantasy managers should continue to start Hurts as a QB1 this week.

This is also a favorable matchup for the Eagles quarterback. The Bears have allowed five different QBs to score over 22 fantasy points against them this year and have also given up the fifth-most rush yards to the QB position through 12 weeks. So, Hurts will be a top starting quarterback option in fantasy in Week 13.

TE Dallas Goedert (PHI)

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert has been an inconsistent TE1 option in recent weeks. He has scored under 8.5 PPR fantasy points in three straight games and has caught just four combined passes over the past two weeks. Therefore, fantasy managers could pivot away from him in Week 13.

However, Goedert has some TE1 potential in 14-plus team leagues this week. The Bears have allowed a TE to score in double figures in PPR formats in three of the past four weeks. Considering Chicago has also given up the fourth-most catches to opposing TEs this season, the Eagles playmaker could be a high-floor play.

Matchups We Hate

WR Rome Odunze (CHI)

Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze has been a hit-or-miss fantasy option since the team's Week 5 bye. He has finished as a top-10 fantasy WR twice over the last seven weeks, but has also finished outside the top-50 at the WR position four different times during this stretch. Unfortunately, things don't get easier for him in Week 13 against the Eagles.

Since Odunze plays both out wide and in the slot, he will likely be matched up on Quinyon Mitchell or Cooper DeJean for most of the game. Mitchell ranks sixth in fantasy points allowed per target among all cornerbacks, and DeJean ranks 30th in fantasy points allowed per game among all cornerbacks. As a result, the Bears' playmaker will be a lower-end WR2 this week.

WR D.J. Moore (CHI)

D.J. Moore has been a boom-or-boom WR option over the past month. He has scored over 23 PPR fantasy points twice since Week 9 and has scored under 3.5 PPR fantasy points in two of the last three games. So, it remains to be seen what version of Moore shows up in this Black Friday game against the Eagles.

Nevertheless, Moore will be more of a WR4 option in 12-plus team leagues this week. The Eagles have a solid cornerback duo, and this secondary has allowed the fifth-fewest receiving touchdowns to the WR position. Moore has also not seen more than seven targets in a game this season, making him a low-end flex option.

TE Colston Loveland (CHI)

Chicago Bears TE Colston Loveland is heating up. He has finished as a top-14 fantasy TE in three of the past four games, and his target share has steadily risen since the team's bye earlier in the year. Last week, Loveland caught four passes for 49 yards and one touchdown en route to a TE3 PPR fantasy finish.

However, the Eagles have been one of the best defenses against TEs this year. They rank second in fantasy points allowed, second in receiving yards allowed, fourth in receiving touchdowns allowed, and fifth in receptions allowed per game. That does not bode well for Loveland's fantasy value this week. That makes him a risky TE1.

Potential Starts For Fantasy Football Lineups

QB Caleb Williams (CHI)

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has been a solid QB1 option recently. He has finished as a top-8 fantasy QB in three of the past four weeks and is coming off a game in which he threw for 239 yards and three touchdowns. Therefore, Williams has some potential as a QB1 this week against the Eagles.

Philadelphia just let Dak Prescott throw for 354 yards and two touchdowns last week, and this defense has allowed the eighth-most rushing yards to opposing QBs this season. That's enough reason to start Williams as a low-end QB1 in some 12-plus team leagues.

RB Saquon Barkley (PHI)

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley has been one of the biggest first-round fantasy busts this season. He is averaging just 14.8 PPR fantasy points per game and has scored under 13.5 PPR fantasy points in five of his past six contests. However, fantasy managers should continue starting Barkley in all formats.

He has the potential to go off for 30-plus PPR fantasy points on any given week. This could be the week that happens, considering the Bears have given up the seventh-most rushing yards to opposing RBs. Just a week ago, Kenneth Gainwell managed to rush for 92 yards en route to an RB9 PPR fantasy finish against the Bears. So, start Barkley as an RB1 in all formats.

RB D'Andre Swift (CHI)

Chicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift dominated the snaps out of the backfield early in last week's game. Then, he lost a fumble and didn't see too many opportunities the rest of the game. That resulted in him scoring a season-low 1.9 PPR fantasy points. As a result, it might be hard to trust him as an RB2 this week.

His rush share has been under 50% in four of the past five weeks and reached a season-low 32% in last week's win. With the Eagles allowing 87.9 rush yards per game to opposing RBs this season, Swift will fall to RB3 status this week.

RB Kyle Monangai (CHI)

Some fantasy managers might look to start Kyle Monangai this week against the Eagles. He has scored a rushing touchdown in three straight games and has finished as a top-24 RB in back-to-back weeks. However, Monangai will be a lower-end flex play in 14-plus team leagues on Friday. Although he saw more rushing chances once Swift fumbled, it's hard to assume that will continue this week.

WR A.J. Brown (PHI)

Philadelphia Eagles WR A.J. Brown had one of his better fantasy games of the season last week, scoring 25 PPR fantasy points behind an eight-catch, 110-yard, one-touchdown performance. Those numbers should give fantasy managers some more confidence in starting Brown as a WR2 this week against the Bears.

Even though Pro Bowl cornerback Jaylon Johnson is expected to return for the Bears, Brown is still a solid play in most formats. Chicago is still banged up on defense, and the Eagles' playmaker has seen double-digit targets in consecutive games.

WR DeVonta Smith (PHI)

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith has been a more consistent fantasy option than Brown this season. He has scored above 14 PPR fantasy points in four of the past five games, and his 68.5 receiving yards per game rank as the WR12 on the year. Therefore, Smith will be a solid WR2 play against the Bears this week.

While Smith missed the first two practices of the week with a chest injury, he was able to avoid an injury designation on Thursday's final report, making him a full-go for this contest.
