Fantasy Football Injury Reports For Week 13 (Thursday Updates): Kenneth Walker III, Travis Etienne, Chris Olave, De'Von Achane, Tee Higgins, and more

Kenneth Walker III - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Fantasy football injury updates and injury reports for RB, WR, QB, TE for Week 13 (2023) of the NFL season, as of 11/30/23, including Kenneth Walker III, Chris Olave, Travis Etienne, Tank Dell, De'Von Achane, and more.

With Week 13 ready to get underway with the Cowboys vs. Seahawks on Thursday Night Football, fantasy managers are busy tracking injuries to their key fantasy studs. We have the latest notable injury updates as of Thursday, November 30, 2023.

Fantasy football assets such as Kenneth Walker III, Travis Etienne, Chris Olave, and more have been dealing with injuries ahead of Week 13. We have plenty of must-starts on this week's injury list with cloudy outlooks, so fantasy managers should be ready to pivot should things go south.

Let's look at the updates for some of fantasy football's most notable performers and see whether they may play in Week 13.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Kenneth Walker III Injury Update

Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (oblique) is officially inactive for the Thursday night contest against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 13. Walker was unable to practice at all this week and was listed as doubtful to play after originally suffering a moderate oblique strain in Week 11. He also missed the Thanksgiving night loss to the San Francisco 49ers last Thursday, so this will be Walker's second straight missed game.

Hopefully, fantasy managers will get the 23-year-old back for the rematch against the Niners in Week 14. Rookie Zach Charbonnet will serve as Seattle's lead back on Thursday once again, with DeeJay Dallas and Kenny McIntosh backing him up. For the volume uptick alone, Charbonnet will have RB2 upside this evening.

Amari Cooper Injury Update

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper (ribs) returned to Thursday's practice after sitting out on Wednesday with a rib injury he sustained in the Week 12 loss to the Denver Broncos. Cooper is normally rested on Wednesdays, but it's a good sign that he was able to return to the practice field a day later after X-rays showed up negative on his ribs.

The 29-year-old could receive a questionable tag on Friday's final Week 13 injury report, but the fact that Cooper practiced on Thursday should mean he's on the right side of questionable. Cooper has only scored twice this year and not since Week 9.

Rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson is still in the concussion protocol, so veteran Joe Flacco could be throwing passes to Cooper this weekend against the Los Angeles Rams. Cooper has become a low-upside WR3/flex given the team's shaky QB situation without Deshaun Watson (shoulder).

De'Von Achane Injury Update

Miami Dolphins rookie running back De'Von Achane (knee) was limited in practice for the second straight day this week on Thursday. The Dolphins are playing it safe with Achane after he aggravated his knee in Week 11 after a stint on Injured Reserve. He was inactive for last Friday's win over the New York Jets.

The 22-year-old has an opportunity to return this weekend against the Washington Commanders, but we have no way of knowing what Miami's plans are for his usage with Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson Jr. also involved in the backfield.

Fantasy managers are just hoping Achane has some of the spark left he showed earlier this year when he had 455 rushing yards and five touchdowns on 37 carries in a three-week span from Weeks 3-5.

Tee Higgins Injury Update

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring) said he felt good at practice on Thursday and that the plan is to play on Monday night against the Jacksonville Jaguars, pending how the rest of the week goes. The Bengals practice again on Friday and Saturday before releasing their final injury report for Week 13.

Higgins has missed the team's last three games, but he returned to practice on Thursday and appears ready to return this week. The 24-year-old pass-catcher had his first 100-yard game of the year in the Week 9 win over the Buffalo Bills. The following week, quarterback Joe Burrow (wrist) suffered a season-ending injury. Higgins appears to be on track to return on Monday night, but his fantasy stock for the rest of the year has plummeted with Burrow now gone.

Chris Olave Injury Update

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave (concussion) put in another day of limited practice on Thursday in the portion open to the media. It's great news after Olave left to be evaluated for a head injury in the Week 12 loss to the Atlanta Falcons and never returned. It's also pretty significant with Michael Thomas (knee) on Injured Reserve and Rashid Shaheed (thigh) unlikely to play after getting hurt this past Sunday.

Olave is the team's unquestioned top receiver when he's active, but he still needs to clear the league's concussion protocol to get the green light to play this Sunday against the Detroit Lions. Even if Olave is able to play, rookie A.T. Perry will be looking at an expanded role with Shaheed expected to be unavailable.

Travis Etienne Injury Update

Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson said running back Travis Etienne Jr. (chest) is "day-to-day" but is doing well. Etienne will be at practice on Thursday, but it's unclear how much he'll actually do. The Jaguars don't play until Monday night in Week 13 against the Cincinnati Bengals. Etienne's status is worth watching, but as of now, it doesn't appear that his injury will put him in danger of sitting out this week.

The 24-year-old briefly left the Week 12 win over the Houston Texans in the first half but later returned and finished with 56 rushing yards on 20 carries and 30 receiving yards on four receptions. As long as he's active, Etienne is a must-start in fantasy as Jacksonville's lead back. If Etienne is limited at all or out on Monday, D'Ernest Johnson and Tank Bigsby would likely split backfield work.

Tank Dell and Dalton Schultz Injury Updates

Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz (hamstring) missed practice on Wednesday and wasn't on the field again on Thursday with the team. Schultz's hamstring injury may explain why he played only just under half of the team's offensive snaps in the Week 12 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. With two missed practices under his belt, the 27-year-old is firmly in danger of missing the Week 13 game against the Denver Broncos.

Houston Texans rookie wide receiver Tank Dell (calf) has returned to practice on Thursday after missing Wednesday's session, according to a team official. Dell had imaging done on his calf after the Week 12 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, but head coach DeMeco Ryans has been optimistic about Dell heading into a Week 13 clash against the Denver Broncos.

Dell and first-rounder C.J. Stroud have formed a strong rookie connection in Houston in 2023, with Dell going for 47 catches, 709 yards and seven touchdowns in 10 games played. Catching 25 passes for 369 yards and five touchdowns in the last four games has made Dell a must-start in fantasy lineups going forward.

Marquise Brown and Trey McBride Injury Updates

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown (heel) missed a second consecutive practice on Thursday. Brown was dealing with a heel issue ahead of Week 12 but played through the pain to rack up six catches for 88 yards, his biggest yardage output since his 96-yard day against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4. Brown's production has been lacking in recent weeks, in spite of the return of Kyler Murray in Week 10.

Updating a previous report, Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride (groin) was listed as a limited participant at Thursday's practice after missing Wednesday's session. It was reported earlier on Thursday that McBride didn't practice, but he returned to the field after the portion open to the media.

The 24-year-old could end up taking a questionable tag into Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but the fact that he was able to do something at practice on Thursday bodes well for his availability this weekend. Zach Ertz was released by Arizona on Thursday, meaning McBride will be the team's unquestioned top tight end the rest of the way.
