FanDuel NFL DFS Lineup Picks for Week 3 - Daily Fantasy Football

As we head toward the final slate before the first bye week of the year, the league has 13 games scheduled on Sunday afternoon. With many teams plagued with injuries, there will be an abundance of low-cost options available to help offset the financial burden caused by rostering some of the big names. Keep an eye on who is sitting in Week 3 as it will play a significant factor as it relates to roster construction.

In this article, I will be providing you with daily fantasy football picks in FanDuel for September 22, 2019 (Week 3). These lineups can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. Be sure to also consult the NFL Depth Charts and Snap Counts for more critical information this week.

FanDuel DFS Quarterbacks - Week 3 Picks

Josh Allen - QB, vs. CIN ($7,500)

Allen hasn't played against any quality teams, but he has still been productive this season, nonetheless. Despite throwing for just two scores so far in 2019, he has gotten it done on the ground by accruing 59 yards and two rushing touchdowns on 17 attempts. With the Bengals also not doing anything to impress anyone defensively, the sophomore quarterback has a chance to accumulate at least 20 fantasy points on Sunday in Buffalo. Not a bad way to go if you are looking to save some cash.

Jimmy Garoppolo - QB, vs. PIT ($7,200)

Though Jameis Winston has a great matchup against the Giants, everyone should be apprehensive about starting a guy who has completed just 59 percent of his passes while throwing three interceptions this season. Garoppolo, however,  struggled in Week 1 but looked great against Cincinnati in Week 2 by finishing the day with 296 yards and three touchdowns on 17-for-25 passing. The Steelers Defense has allowed 445 yards per game this season, and while Winston isn't a horrible option as he could potentially turn things around, Goroppolo is a safer option on Sunday.

FanDuel DFS Running Backs - Week 3 Picks

Ezekiel Elliott - RB vs. MIA ($8,800)

This one could get out of hand quickly as the Cowboys are heavy favorites against Miami on Sunday. Elliot is a solid-choice for obvious reasons, with the only downfall being if he sits earlier than expected due to a blowout. Someone has to put up some points before it gets to that point though, with Elliot likely being the main guy responsible for the onslaught against a horrendous Dolphins Defense.

Dalvin Cook - RB, vs. OAK ($8,300)

Cook leads all rushers with 265 yards and three touchdowns, and despite the efficiency of the Raiders Defense against the run (at least on paper), its numbers are based on matchups with the likes of Royce Freeman, Phillip Lindsay, LeSean McCoy, and Damien Williams, four guys who aren't nearly the same caliber of player. The 24-year-old has been the focal point of the Vikings offense, with that unlikely to change anytime soon. Get him in your lineup.

FanDuel DFS Wide Receivers - Week 3 Picks

Chris Godwin - WR, vs. NYG ($7,600)

There are some questions and concerns regarding the top-tier wideouts on Sunday so Godwin may be one of the best options, especially since he will be going up against a crappy Giants Defense. Though Jameis Winston's play this season is somewhat concerning, the 23-year-old has been a capable producer by gathering 174 yards and two trips to the end zone on 11 receptions (15 targets). Mike Evans battled the flu in Week 1 but somewhat came to life against the Panthers last Thursday, making him another decent choice in fantasy lineups in Week 3.

John Ross - WR, @ BUF ($6,700)

Despite being on the road in Buffalo, Ross has been playing too well to be overlooked. He has been targeted 20 times by quarterback Andy Dalton through the first two games and has collected a league-leading 270 receiving yards while amassing three touchdowns. With A.J. Green still out of the mix, Ross should continue to have his number called quite a bit, at least for the next week or so.

FanDuel DFS Tight Ends - Week 3 Picks

Mark Andrews - TE, @ KC ($6,800)

Andrews has been dealing with a foot issue over the past two weeks, but he was well enough to play against Arizona in Week 2. The 24-year-old has taken the league by storm this season and currently leads his position with 220 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Keep an eye on his status on Sunday because if he plays, he is an excellent option against the Chiefs.

Greg Olsen - TE, @ ARI ($6,100)

Olsen anticipates that he will suit up after dealing with a back ailment over the past few weeks. With Travis Kelce and Zach Ertz both dealing with rough matchups in Week 3, Olsen is a sneaky option who is often overlooked. The veteran played semi-well last Thursday night against the Bucs and could serve as a reliable option for Kyle Allen, who will start for the injured Cam Newton on Sunday. It also helps that the Cardinals give up a league-worst 31.15 fantasy points to tight ends this season so if you are looking to save some cash, Olsen could be your guy.

FanDuel DFS Defenses - Week 3 Picks

Cowboys Defense - DEF, vs. MIA ($5,000)

Obviously, this one is a no-brainer. After the Patriots racked up 37 fantasy points against the Dolphins in Week 2, the Cowboys defense will likely top the charts against one of the worst offenses in the league. Josh Rosen will get the start, but it shouldn't make much of a difference.
