FanDuel NBA DFS Picks for Today (Wednesday, 3/26/25): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Tyrese Haliburton - NBA DFS Lineup Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball

Dan's favorite FanDuel NBA DFS picks for today, Wednesday - 3/26/25. His top daily fantasy basketball lineup sleepers and value picks for FanDuel DFS contests.

While tonight's NBA DFS slate only includes six games, you can make a pretty good argument for using players from any of these games in your lineups, as no team is favored by more than five points. The highest total comes from the Lakers-Pacers game at 235, followed by a clash of the tankers as Philly faces Washington. This should be a fun slate, as the Nuggets will likely be without Nikola Jokic against Giannis Antetokounmpo (who is currently questionable), and the Bucks are already missing Damian Lillard. The Celtics will also battle the Suns, but Jayson Tatum is doubtful for that one.

I always make it a point to recommend some higher-priced players for cash games and GPPs while highlighting some of my favorite value plays and game stacks. If you want DraftKings picks, see who Zach Thompson likes by reading his piece here.

This article will provide my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/26/25. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7:00 p.m. EST on FanDuel.

FanDuel NBA DFS Core Picks

Justin Edwards, PHI - PF ($6.1K)

I referred to this game in the introduction as "clash of the tankers," and while both teams may be actively trying to lose in real life, it should produce some potential "winners" for DFS purposes. The Sixers have shut everyone who matters down and have been led in the last few weeks by Quentin Grimes—a backup wing player who was jettisoned by both the Knicks and Mavericks within the last year and has transformed into a silly-season all-star.

Grimes rested on Monday night and could return tonight, but he's now priced up to where there is little room for profit. Instead, I am focusing on Justin Edwards, who has emerged as the Sixers' other bright spot down the stretch. Edwards is just 6k and has posted 30+ FD points in five straight contests. He's logging heavy minutes and getting up his fair share of shot attempts (16 per game over the last five) while leading the Sixers' offense.

There is fantasy value to be derived from this game, and unfortunately, with Washington playing some very unpredictable rotations, we are going to have to look at Philly for most of it.

Tyrese Haliburton, IND - PG/SG ($9.2K)

With the Lakers' big three of Luka Doncic, LeBron James, and Austin Reaves all healthy and dividing up the stats among them, I am targeting the Indiana side when targeting this top total.

Haliburton was on a tear to start the month before sitting out three games, but he has returned to post 44 and 50 FD points in his first two games back in just 30 minutes a night.

I expect Haliburton to put the offense on his back tonight and play closer to his regular 35 minutes. Tonight, he has a great floor/ceiling in this matchup, which could be an elite game environment.

Jaylen Brown, BOS - SG/SF ($8.2K)

Brown has been out of the lineup for the last few weeks and was only eased back into the mix for 25 minutes against the Kings on Monday. But he will likely need to play his normal allotment of minutes tonight against the Suns, as Tatum is doubtful for this contest.

I tend to subscribe to the "play Tatum when Brown sits and play Brown when Tatum sits" ideology, as it has often served me well in the past. There is a little more uncertainty here with Brown's recent form than I would like, but his price is appealing for his increased role and this matchup, as I expect this game to stay close and likely be a pretty high-scoring affair.

Others Under Consideration: Giannis Antetokounmpo - PF ($12K), LeBron James - SF/PF ($9.4K), Jamal Murray - PG/SG ($8,600)

FanDuel NBA DFS Tournament Pivots

Karl-Anthony Towns, NYK - C ($9.8K)

The big man had his way with Dallas last night, finishing with a 26-12-11 line and his first triple-double of the season. He and teammate Josh Hart both managed to trip-dub in the same game as they both picked up the slack in the passing department with guards Jalen Brunson and Miles McBride on the shelf.

I don't love that he's on a back-to-back here, but the price is very fair on KAT, who should be a very tough matchup for Ivica Zubac - a big man who is better suited to guard a traditional post player than a stretch-five like Towns. I think Towns, Hart, and OG Anunoby (who also went off last night) all have some GPP appeal tonight.

Kristaps Porzingis, BOS – PF/C ($8.1K)

With Tatum out, I think Porzingis is a compelling pivot off Brown. He is only a few games removed from two 50-burgers against Utah and Brooklyn, and I would expect him to play 30+ minutes tonight as the Celtics will need their main guys as much as possible to hold off a Suns team that is playing better of late.

Porzo should be a problem for Nick Richards and the Suns with his ability to stretch the floor on offense and protect the rim on defense. I love his upside at this price, and I want a few pieces of this game tonight in GPPs.

Kevin Durant, PHO - SF/PF ($9.7K)

KD has gone nuclear in two straight games, posting 61 and 59 FD points against Cleveland and Milwaukee - two good teams. It feels like he's stepped up with Bradley Beal out and with Phoenix playing with more of a sense of urgency as the season winds down.

Boston is usually a team we avoid as they play solid defense, but KD is matchup proof and can get his against anyone in the league. I think he could go overlooked on this slate tonight, even with how good he has been lately and pairing him with a Celtic (or two) makes for a compelling GPP strategy.

Others Under Consideration: Jrue Holiday - PG/SG ($5.5K), Kawhi Leonard - SF/PF ($8.9K), Josh Hart - SF/PF ($8,100)

FanDuel NBA DFS Value Picks

Jeff Dowtin Jr., PHI – PG ($4.8K)

Dowtin has outplayed Jared Butler lately, whether as the starter or off the bench. He's more of a natural scorer, and the Sixers need guys who can get buckets on the floor.

Kevin Porter Jr., MIL - PG/SG ($4.7K)

Damian Lillard is already out tonight, and Ryan Rollins was a dud as the starter in his stead the other night. It was Porter Jr. who was far more productive and who is the better scorer. KPJ can come off the bench and get buckets, and he should project as one of the top values at either guard position tonight.

Chuma Okeke, PHI - PF ($4.9K)

The Sixers love this guy and are playing him as many minutes as he can handle. He can score and rebound and can pile up FD points at a point-per-minute rate.

Ryan Dunn, PHX – SF/PF ($4.8K)

Dunn is a super boring play, but is a good bet for 20-25 FD points with his ability to rebound and get defensive stats. The Suns continue to give him big minutes, and that gives him a solid floor.

Jonathan Mogbo, TOR - PF/C (4.9K)

It's been Mogbo, not Orlando Robinson, who has been getting big minutes at the center position when Jakob Poeltl is rested. Mogbo has 29 FD points in two straight games, and he should project well tonight if he starts and plays around 25-28 minutes.

Others Under Consideration: Ryan Rollins - SG ($4.3K), Cameron Payne - PG/SG ($5.2K), Collin Gillespie - PG ($3.9K), Baylor Scheierman - SF ($4,300)
