FanDuel NBA DFS Picks for Today (Thursday 2/13/25): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

James Harden - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball Rankings, Injury News

Koby's favorite FanDuel NBA DFS picks for today, Thursday- 2/13/25. His top daily fantasy basketball lineup sleepers and value picks for FanDuel DFS contests.

Welcome Back, RotoBallers! We have one final slate before the NBA all-star break, and it's a small five-game slate. All 10 teams are on the second half of their back-to-backs. There are a couple of guys who are either resting or dealing with injuries, here is who to keep an eye on: Anthony Edwards, Chet Holmgren, John Collins, Walker Kessler, Lauri Markannen, Rudy Gobert, Collin Sexton, Ben Simmons, Terry Rozier, and Mike Conley.

I always make it a point to recommend some higher-priced players for cash games and GPPs while highlighting some of my favorite value plays and game stacks. If you want DraftKings picks, see who Dan Palyo is going with in his article here!

This article will provide my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 2/13/25. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 8:00 EST on FanDuel.

FanDuel NBA DFS Core Picks

James Harden, LAC - PG ($9.5K)

The only thing you have to worry about here is the blowout potential. The Jazz may be resting a bunch of guys before the break, which could lead to Utah running the second unit out on the court. We just saw Harden finish with 52 FP just a few days ago against Utah, and the Jazz are giving up the most FP to opposing PGs this season.

Domantas Sabonis, SAC - PF/C ($9.6K)

The Pelicans were able to keep this one close last night, and Sabonis finished with 46 FP. He now doesn't have Zion Williamson to worry about, and the Pelicans have been terrible against big men this season. I played him last night, and I see no reason not to play him again on this back-to-back.

The floor is incredible with Sabonis, and the Kings are going to look to try and finish out strong before the All-Star Break.

Trey Murphy III, NOP - SG/SF ($8.3K)

Trey Murphy had a bit of a down night last night, but I believe with Zion out of this contest, we should see Murphy resume his reign of terror in this starting unit. Outside of last night, Murphy had 38+ FP in six straight contests. With Zion and Dejounte Murray out, Trey Murphy sees about a 6% increase in his usage.

Others Under Consideration: Anthony Edwards - SG/SF ($9.9K), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - PG ($11.3K), Kyrie Irving - PG ($9.1K)

FanDuel NBA DFS Tournament Pivots

Bam Adebayo, MIA - PF/C ($8.2K)

Bam is questionable for this one at the moment, but in a matchup like this, I expect him to play. Bam should dominate Dallas, considering they don't have very many big men left on the roster. He was coming off a 54 FP performance against OKC last night, and I could easily see him repeating that. The great thing is on FD; he has PF eligibility, so we can double on elite big men tonight if paired with Sabonis.

Naz Reid, MIN – PF/C ($7.4K)

We just saw Bam Adebayo tear up this OKC frontcourt last night and with Gobert questionable to play. Naz Reid could be in for a massive night. He finished with 38 FP in their last matchup, and that was with Julius Randle in the lineup. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw 45+ FP from Naz in this matchup, especially if Gobert is out.

Keyonte George, UTA - PG/SG ($6.3K)

Keyonte George should be taking over in this one, it is looking like Utah may rest a lot of their guys, and Keyonte George, alongside Isaiah Collier, should eat big minutes in their rotation. George last night finished with 44 FP and a double-double. With Clarkson and Sexton both being ruled out as I'm writing this, George should be in for a big role tonight.

Others Under Consideration: DeMar DeRozan - SF/PF ($7.5K), Jalen Green - SG/SF ($7.3K), Isaiah Collier - PG ($5.9K)

FanDuel NBA DFS Value Picks

Max Christie, DAL – SG/SF ($5.7K)

As long as Max Christie is sub 6k, I will continue to play him. He has finished with 29+ in five straight games since going to Dallas and should continue to see plenty of run in this offense. He is averaging almost 35 minutes a game and should continue to see that as long as Dallas is down with the injury bug.

Moses Moody, GSW - SG ($4.7K)

Steve Kerr said he is unsure whether or not the Warriors vets are going to be playing in tonight's game, if that is the case, we could get 30+ minutes of Moody, and they will need his shooting if they want to keep this game close. If he gets the shot to fall tonight, he could easily finish with 6-7x his price.

Kris Dunn, LAC - PG ($4.1K)

Kris Dunn has seen his role increase with Kevin Porter Jr. getting traded to the Bucks. With Kawhi out for this one as well, we should Dunn continue to get decent minutes. He has definite 5x value for his price and is coming off a near 40 FP performance where he only played 20 minutes. He could be a sneaky value play if he can continue to play well as he did against Memphis.

Olivier-Maxence Prosper, DAL – SF/PF ($5.5K)

With the Mavericks down five big men in this contest, Prosper has seen quite the increase in minutes. At 4.5k, he makes for an intriguing value play. He isn't a high-usage guy, but he has 5x his price in two straight contests. Dallas will need all the help they can get with a big team like Miami coming in, which should lead to Prosper getting solid minutes.

Others Under Consideration: Brandin Podziemski- SF/PF ($5.6K), Naji Marshall - SF/PF ($5.5K), Luguentz Dort - SG/SF ($4.5K), Karlo Matkovic- PF/C ($4.9K)
