FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (4/8/18): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Dennis Clausen highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 4/8/18, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

The final Sunday of the season is here and things are interesting from a fantasy perspective to say the least. With so many teams either having nothing to play for or have already locked up their respective playoff position, there is a chance that many players could sit early, or not play at all. As a result, make sure you check player statuses prior to lock time. In typical Sunday fashion, FanDuel is also splitting up the slate with two contests, but the information in this article will be for the main slate in the evening.

Below you will find our daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/8/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options, to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also read more DFS lineup picks for DraftKings and other sports too.

Feel free to give me a shout on Twitter @Den_Clausen and let me know how well I did, or didn't do. Good luck!

FanDuel DFS Guards

Donovan Mitchell - SG, @ LAL

With the Jazz still fighting for playoff positioning and the Lakers tendency to play hard against good teams, Mitchell could find himself receiving a generous allotment of minutes on Sunday. He played well against the Lakers a few games back, accumulating 26 points and six boards, and there is no reason to believe why he won't produce something similar.

Tyler Ulis - PG, vs. GS ($6,900)

Tyler Ulis has been the man and has been producing solid numbers in wake of the plethora of injuries that the Suns have been plagued with. With so many players listed on the team's injury report, including the surging Josh Jackson who is questionable, Ulis could be the number one scoring option on Sunday. The real question remains, however, is if he is worth his $6,900 asking price?

Quinn Cook - PG, @ PHO ($6,300)

Even though the Warriors will likely win by 8,000 over the Suns, Cook will likely remain on the court for the duration of the contest. Golden State has already locked up the number two spot in the Western Conference and as a result, guys like Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson could have an easier workload moving forward until the playoffs. Quinn dumped 39.8 fantasy points on Phoenix last Sunday and will likely produce numbers somewhere in the 30's.

Daniel House - SG, vs. GSW ($4,300)

House is a risky play, but the upside is there. He won't cost you that much and will get a nice run on Sunday. If you need someone with a high ceiling to give you some cap relief, he is your guy.

Also Consider: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Josh Hart, Shaquille Harrison (if Josh Jackson sits), Fred VanVleet, Dante Exum

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Joe Ingles - SF, @ LAL ($6,700)

With Kevin Durant being suck a risky play and Josh Jackson being a game-time decision, Ingles is the next best thing. He didn't play his best when the Jazz played the Lakers a few nights ago, scoring only 13 points, but we will give him a free pass on that one. He is a guy who will put up only five shots on occasion, but he also has the potential to put up 15 in addition to letting them fly from deep. When he is on, he is a guy that you definitely want on your roster.

Serge Ibaka - PF, vs. Toronto

Though I prefer players who get minutes, Ibaka remains productive nonetheless. He's had eight blocks over the last five games and hasn't been too shabby on the offensive end either. He could easily hit five times value with no issues.

Also Consider: Josh Jackson (questionable), Wesley Iwundu, Jamel Artis (if Aaron Gordon sits), Khem Birch (if Aaron Gordon sits), Dragan Bender

FanDuel DFS Centers

Alex Len - C, vs. GSW ($4,600)

If this was the NHL, the Suns would need to use one of those emergency goalies. At this point, Phoenix may need to seek help from the popcorn vendor or the guy selling snow cones because things are bad. As of this writing, the team currently has nine players that are listed as either out or questionable, meaning plenty of minutes will be up for grabs. In NBA DFS, this translates into opportunity for guys to step up and score some points well beyond their value. Len will need only 23 fantasy points to hit the five times value mark, but could very well go beyond that, especially if the Warriors sit some of their studs.

Ivica Zubac - C, vs. UTA ($3,900)

This one is risky as well, but just like the Suns, the Lakers are also dealing with some injury issues. Zubac is averaging 24.5 minutes over the past few games, but could see more if Brook Lopez sits due to a back issue.

Also Consider: Rudy Gobert
