FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (4/14/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Dennis Clausen highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 4/14/19, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

The Playoffs continue on Sunday with four games on the horizon. We have some significant injuries to monitor as Al Horford, Paul George, Blake Griffin, Donovan Mitchell, Ricky Rubio, and Kyle Korver are all in danger of not participating in their respective series' openers. In terms of Vegas,  Oklahoma City/Portland leads the slate with a projected overall score of 224.5, followed closely by Utah/Houston and Detroit/Milwaukee, which are both tied at 219.5.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/14/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

FanDuel DFS Guards

James Harden - SG, vs. UTA ($12,300)

The Rockets will utilize isolation to get Harden plenty of chances to score on Sunday, making his presence essential in everyone's fantasy lineup. The former MVP has played well against Utah, accruing averages of 33.5 points, 7.3 assists, 6.9 boards, and 2.2 steals throughout four meetings on the year. Harden also leads all players with an impressive usage rating of 39.3 percent and will aggressively look to hammer the Jazz in Game 1.

Chris Paul - PG, vs. UTA ($8,400)

Paul is averaging 21.9 points, 11 boards, and 2.1 steals in the postseason throughout what has certainly been a hall of fame career. Though he has struggled a bit against the Jazz this season, his experience in the playoffs will likely allow him to hit his value of 42 fantasy points. Coach D'Antoni will run his starting five into the ground until the end of the season and as a result, expect the veteran to get plenty of chances to contribute significantly on Sunday.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Paul George - SF, @ POR ($10,600)

George has been dealing with a lingering shoulder issue as of late but is expected to play despite carrying a questionable designation heading into the series' opener. Though Giannis Antetokounmpo is always a popular choice, his inexperience as a playoff competitor will keep me away from him, at least for the time being. George is averaging 38 points against Portland and is generously priced on Sunday.

Jae Crowder - SF, @ HOU ($4,600)

In a perfect world, everyone would be able to construct a lineup that consisted of Westbrook, Giannis, Harden, and Lillard; however as well all know, that is not the case at all, and we will have to cut some corners. As a result of his defensive prowess, Crowder should get plenty of minutes in Game 1 against the Rockets in an attempt to slow down what should be an offensive barrage from Houston, with the potential for more time on the floor if Donovan Mitchell, Kyle Korver, and/or Ricky Rudio aren't able to play.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Clint Capela - C, vs. UTA ($9,000)

Capela convincingly finished the regular season, hitting at least 40.5 fantasy points in six of his last eight games. With Utah giving up at least 57.16 fantasy points to opposing big men on the season, the 24-year-old has an excellent chance to put up some efficient numbers in Game 1.
