FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (3/3/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Dennis Clausen highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 3/3/19, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

The league features eight games on Sunday to close out the weekend. Keep an eye on injuries and don't take chances on players who may not play, especially if you plan on participating in some of the early contests.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/3/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks. Be sure to check all the NBA starting lineups and player statuses and availability prior to opening tip.

FanDuel DFS Guards

James Harden - SG, @ BOS ($12,300)

Harden is coming off of an efficient 58-point outing against the Miami Heat on Thursday night, and with a few extra days off, Harden should be well-rested and ready to produce in a game that will be nationally televised on ABC. The reigning MVP dumped 45 points on the Celtics back at the end of December, and though Chris Paul will be in the lineup this time around, Harden will still have plenty of chances to finish the afternoon with yet another stellar fantasy performance. He should be in everyone's lineup, especially if the team is without Eric Gordon, Gerald Green, and Kenneth Faried.

Chris Paul - PG, @ BOS ($8,500)

Just like James Harden, Paul will be eager to showcase his skills in the national spotlight. Despite only accumulating just over 27.2 fantasy points against the Heat, the veteran is averaging nearly 43 over the past five games. He is generously priced and should have plenty of gas in the tank after having not played since Thursday night.

Dennis Schroder - SG, @ MEM ($5,100)

Though Paul George hasn't been officially ruled out, head coach Billy Donovan indicated that he likely wouldn't be in the lineup against Memphis on Sunday. Schroder is the biggest beneficiary for OKC without George in the lineup, receiving a 6.5 percent increase in usage in addition to a bump of 4.8 in the plus/minus category. The 25-year-old is also one of the most consistent players on the slate as well, hitting his value in 53.45 percent of his games this season. Despite OKC coming off of a loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, Schroder's decreased workload of only 30 minutes in that one should allow him to play a healthy amount while looking to help his team snap a four-game losing streak. Keep an eye on George throughout the day because if he can't go, Schroder should be a lock.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Trevor Ariza - SF, vs. MIN ($6,600)

Even though Washington improved the depth of their team with the acquisitions of Jabari Parker and Bobby Portis, Ariza continues to get consistent minutes. He struggled against the Celtics a few nights ago by going 2-for-10 from the field and a cold o-for-5 from deep in addition to turning the ball over five times. He has a chance to turn things around against a Minnesota team that has struggled on the defensive end throughout the year.

Maurice Harkless - SF, @ CHA ($5,600)

With so many inconsistent options at the three spot on Sunday, Harkless may be one of the safest picks. He has been heavily involved offensively for the Blazers as of late, averaging nearly 10 shot attempts over the last six contests. Although he only played 27 minutes, mainly due to foul trouble, against the Raptors on Friday, he still managed to finish with 30.8 fantasy points.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Karl-Anthony Towns - C, @ WAS ($12,000)

After missing a few games, Towns returned and has hit at least 64 fantasy points in each of his last three games. He will be matched up against a Wizards team that has struggled against opposing centers all season long. With this game expected to be one of the highest-scoring on the slate, look for him to put a hurting on Washington on Sunday.
