FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (3/18/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Dennis Clausen highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 3/18/19, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

I Hope you had a nice St. Patrick's Day weekend and have fully recovered from your drunken debacle. After an excellent Sunday that featured golf, Nascar, NBA, and NCAA tournament picks, which were all good enough to keep me on the couch and my wife rolling her eyes, the association returns on Monday with nine games scheduled to kick off the week as the regular season nears its completion. From a Vegas standpoint, New Orleans/Dallas leads the way with a projected combined score of 230 points followed by Chicago/Phoenix and Utah/Washington at 228. We also have some significant injuries to monitor as DeMarcus Cousins, Kevin Love, Larry Nance Jr., Gordon Hayward, Al Horford, Dennis Smith Jr., Kyle Lowry, Luka Doncic, Tyler Johnson, Richaun Holmes, and T.J. Warren are all in jeopardy of not playing. Kawhi Leonard (load management), Serge Ibaka (suspension), and Russell Westbrook (suspension) are both out on Monday night.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 3/18/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Dennis Schroder - SG, vs. MIA ($6,000)

Schroder will get the start in place of Russell Westbrook, who will miss this game after picking up his 16th technical foul of the year on Saturday against the defending champs. With Russ out of the lineup, the former Hawk will enjoy a 7.4 percent increase in usage to go along with an increase of five in the +/- category, making him a prime candidate to exceed his value by far.

Fred Vanvleet - PG, vs. NYK ($4,600)

Despite this game featuring an unappealing projected combined score of only 212 points, VanVleet should have a place in fantasy lineups as he could get some extra minutes if Kyle Lowry, who didn't suit up against the Pistons due to an ankle ailment, isn't able to go. After missing his previous 12 games with a thumb injury, the 25-year-old returned on Sunday afternoon and logged 31 minutes, finishing with 17 points while shooting an impressive 80 percent from deep on five shot attempts. Though there is a chance that he could sit this one out, he will likely have high ownership if he is in the lineup against the Knicks. Keep an eye on him throughout the day.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Paul George - SF, vs. MIA ($11,200)

George may take anywhere between 20-25 shots on Monday night, likely finishing with around 50 or so fantasy points. He has played well against the Heat this season, dropping 43 points on 10-for-16 shooting from downtown when these two clubs met back at the beginning of February. Even at that price, he is still undervalued, considering he is putting up MVP-like numbers this season.

Draymond Green - PF, @ SAS ($6,700)

With Boogie out of the picture on Monday night, along with Andre Iguodala, Green will benefit across the board. Though Kevin Durant will play against the Spurs after missing a few games with a bad ankle, the absence of Boogie will give the 29-year-old some extra looks at the basket as well as some additional boards and dimes to boot.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Rudy Gobert - C, @ WSH ($9,600)

Gobert will have the luxury of going up against one of the worst interior defenses in the league on Monday, leaving him with the potential to make a significant impact on the fantasy front. He looked really good against Brooklyn a few nights ago, finishing the night with 23 points, 17 rebounds, and three blocks. It will cost you to acquire his services, but he should have no problem eclipsing at least 40 fantasy points against the Wizards.
