FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (2/4/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Dennis Clausen highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 2/4/19, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

With the All-Star game right around the corner, the association features six games to kick off the week. We have some promising DFS matchups on the slate with Atlanta/Washington leading the way with a combined overall projected score of 233 points, followed by Houston/Phoenix (229.5), Milwaukee/Brooklyn (227.5), and San Antonio/Sacramento (227.5).

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 2/4/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel.

You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks. As always, don't set your lineups too early. Be sure to check all the NBA starting lineups and player statuses and availability prior to opening tip. Give me a follow on Twitter @Den_Clausen and say hello. Good luck!

FanDuel DFS Guards

Trae Young - PG,  @ WSH ($7,600)

The Wizards are allowing 49.29 fantasy points to opposing point guards, and with this game expected to be high-scoring, Young could finish the night as one of the most productive options on the slate. He has hit at least 41 fantasy points in four of his last five outings and should have no problem efficiently leading the charge against Washington.

Frank Jackson - PG, vs. IND ($3,900)

Jackson has seen a significant increase in playing time as a result of the numerous injuries across the board for the Pelicans, averaging 27 minutes over the last five contests. He played relatively well against the Spurs a few nights ago, and despite going 1-for-7 from behind the arc, the former Duke Blue Devil managed to finish with 25 points. With New Orleans still shorthanded, Jackson will start at the one and get plenty of chances to put up some numbers against the Pacers.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Giannis Antetokounmpo - SF, @ BKN ($11,600)

The Freak has a floor of 38.4 fantasy points and a ceiling of 75.8 against the defensively-inept Nets. He put up a triple-double against Brooklyn when these two clubs met back at the end of December so it would be safe to assume that he will likely hit his value of 58 fantasy points, making him a prime candidate to build your fantasy lineup around on Monday night.

John Collins - PF, @ WSH ($7,600)

Collins is reasonably priced and is projected to walk away from this one with 36 fantasy points, 2.5 more than Kenneth Faried, who is priced higher at $8,000. He is also expected to touch the ball 67 times on Monday night, second only to Blake Griffin, who leads the way at the four spot with 95. The 21-year-old has been impressive against the Wizards, averaging 22.3 points and 11.7 boards throughout three meetings on the year. Look for him to be heavily involved against a Washington team that allows 45.8 fantasy points per game to opposing power forwards this season, good for tenth-worst in the league.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Nikola Jokic - C, @ DET ($11,300)

Jokic has had a triple-double in two of his last three games and was one assist away against Houston from making it three in a row instead. Despite that the fact that he will be going up against Andre Drummond and Blake Griffin in a game that is projected to be the lowest-scoring on the night, the 23-year-old will benefit from the absence of Gary Harris and the potential absence of Jamal Murray.
