FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (2/24/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Dennis Clausen highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 2/24/19, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

We have only three games on the agenda on Sunday with not much room for error. Without any significant injuries to speak of, game theory, as well as over/under, should be your points of attack. Look for players from the Nuggets/Clippers game to be popular additions to fantasy rosters as a result of Vegas lines.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 2/23/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Jamal Murray - PG, vs. LAC ($6,800)

Murray's asking price of $6,800 is too reasonable to pass up, especially considering that he is still the number one option for the Nuggets. He missed some time with an ankle ailment but is averaging 14.8 points on 14.6 shots since his return five games ago. He has also played favorably against the Clippers all season, and with Los Angeles sporting some of the worst defensive numbers in the league, this pick should be a no-brainer.

Jeremy Lin - PG, vs. ORL ($4,900)

Lin was acquired by the Raptors just a few weeks ago and has been getting some minutes in the absence of Fred Vanvleet, who will be out of action for the foreseeable future with a thumb injury. Toronto will welcome Boston and Portland to Scotiabank Arena next week, two tough games for a team that is fighting to claim the top spot in the East. Look for the Raptors to finish off Orlando early and for Kyle Lowry to get some extra rest, meaning more time on the floor for Lin, who will likely hit his value of 24.5 fantasy points.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Paul Millsap - PF, vs. LAC ($7,000)

After missing nearly four straight games with a right ankle issue, Millsap flourished in the final three games before the All-Star break, averaging 17 points, 12 boards, and two steals during that span. The 34-year-old appears to have solidified his position at the four spot once again and will have a nice matchup against a Clippers team that is weak underneath the basket.

Jonathan Isaac - SF, @ TOR ($6,500)

Isaac has carved out a consistent spot for himself in the Orlando rotation and was on a roll before the break. However, he struggled against Chicago a few nights ago, finishing with only four points on what was a very disappointing fantasy outing for the sophomore forward. Nonetheless, we need to move forward, and with the Clippers playing the first game of a back-to-back, Danilo Gallinari may see a slight decrease in production due to a reduction in minutes, and as a result, you can save some cash by rolling with Isaac, who will likely finish with similar numbers.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Nikola Jokic - C, vs. LAC ($11,400)

Jokic is a must-own on Sunday as he is going to do some nasty things to the Clippers. In his three meetings against Los Angeles this season, the 24-year-old is averaging 19.3 points, 9.3 boards, and nearly two blocks against a team that is worst in the league defensively against opposing big men. Get him in your lineup, even if it means sacrificing a roster spot.
