FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (12/9/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Dennis Clausen highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 12/9/19, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Nine games are on the agenda to kick off the week, with Minnesota at Phoenix leading the way from a Vegas standpoint with a projected overall score of 233.5 points. Of course, we have some injuries to monitor as the day progresses, so keep an eye on guys like Fred Vanvleet, Malcolm Brogdon, and Kawhi Leonard, who has a good chance of not playing as the Clippers will play the second of a back-to-back.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 12/9/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

Give me a follow on Twitter @Den_Clausen and say hello. Good luck.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Donovan Mitchell - SG, vs. OKC ($8,200)

Mike Conley will remain out with a hamstring issue, and Donovan Mitchell will continue to run the point. In the two games that Conley has been absent, Mitchell has scored at least 22 points and is also enjoying a slight bump in the usage department. He had seven turnovers against Memphis during his last game, so he will need to limit those moving forward.

Derrick Rose - PG, @ NOP ($5,800)

Rose will be matched up against a Pelicans team that is allowing a league-worst 52.31 fantasy points per game to opposing point guards this season, and an unimpressive seventh-worst 42.54 fantasy points per game to shooting guards. He will need to get his shot back on track, with the veteran shooting just 42.3 percent from the field this month, but overall, he is still sporting a career-best 48.5 percent. Reggie Jackson remains out with a back issue, and while Bruce Brown will start, the former MVP will get plenty of minutes coming in for relief. At only $5,800, the upside is there for sure.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Paul George - SF, @ IND ($8,700)

George will make his return to Indiana and should be in line for a full night's work after seeing the court in a limited fashion on Sunday night. He was still efficient against the Wizards despite playing just 25 minutes, finishing with 27 points, and will benefit across the board if Kawhi Leonard sits on Monday. There is a chance that George himself could sit, so monitor his status leading up until opening tip.

Bojan Bogdanovic - SF, vs. OKC ($7,100)

Ingles is another guy who has benefited from the absence of Mike Conley, logging at least 19 points in each of his last two games. Look for him to continue to play heavy minutes and serve as the No. 2 offensive option behind Donovan Mitchell until Conley is back in the mix.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Montrezl Harrell - C, @ IND ($7,600)

As in the case with Paul George, Harrell will be in line for some more production if Kawhi is out. He dropped 20 on the short-handed Wizards frontcourt and is a cheaper option for those looking to avoid paying up on Karl-Anthony Towns, Andre Drummond, and Clint Capela.
