FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (1/22/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Karl-Anthony Towns - NBA DFS Lineup Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball

Dennis Clausen highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 1/22/19, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

After an exciting slate of games on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the league downsizes to just four on Tuesday. We have some injuries to monitor as Kawhi Leonard, Lou Williams, Danilo Gallinari, Dennis Smith Jr., Tyus Jones, Deandre Ayton, and Richaun Holmes are all listed on the report in some shape or form. As far as Vegas is concerned, each game on the schedule is projected to have a combined overall score between 220-230 points, while each game will also feature a pace between 102-105 possessions.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 1/22/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Derrick Rose - PG, @ PHO ($6,600)

After not playing more than 27 minutes since returning from an ankle injury that kept him out for six straight games, Rose played 37 impressive minutes against the Suns on Sunday, finishing the night with 31 points that included the game-winning shot. The 30-year-old appears that have turned back the clock and after mulling retirement while with the Cavaliers, he now finds himself in the All-Star conversation. The veteran should continue to get minutes and is arguably the best option for the Wolves on the offensive end.

Patrick Beverley - PG, @ DAL ($4,700)

Beverly helped lead the Clippers to a victory over the Spurs on Sunday and ended up with an impressive 53.9 fantasy points by way of 18 points, 12 boards, four steals, and a block. While it is unlikely that he will have the rebounding total that he saw against San Antonio, the price is right for him to at least hit, and exceed, his value of 23.5 fantasy points in another game without Danilo Gallinari. His stock will also increase if Lou Williams, who is a game-time call, is not able to play.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Tobias Harris - PF, @ DAL ($8,100)

Harris provided the Clippers 27 points throughout 43 minutes in the narrow win over the Spurs on Sunday. He fell short of a triple-double, adding in nine rebounds and nine assists, in addition to three steals and a block.

Kelly Oubre Jr. - SF, vs. MIN ($6,100)

Oubre is another guy who could exceed his projection on Tuesday. Averaging 16.5 points throughout 27 minutes over the last 10 contests, the 23-year-old has solidified his spot on the Suns' rotation, at least for now. With Deandre Ayton unlikely to play, Oubre, along with Dragan Bender, will be the primary beneficiaries for those looking for some value opportunities.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Karl-Anthony Towns - C, @ PHO ($10,600)

Towns was very productive against the Suns and took full advantage of the absence of Deandre Ayton. Towns would finish the game with 30 points and 12 boards for 61.4 fantasy points, 8.1 points more than his previous two contests combined. With the other big names coming off back-to-back outings, I will opt to spend up on the fresh man.
