FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (1/14/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Dennis Clausen highlights the top FanDuel NBA DFS lineup picks for 1/14/19, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

Six games are scheduled around the league on Monday night. With injuries to Kyrie Irving and Marcus Smart, expect Terry Rozier and Jaylen Brown to see a significant increase in ownership. As far as Vegas goes, the Pelicans will head to the Staples Center to meet the Clippers with both teams looking at an impressive projected combined score of 240 points.

In this DFS article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 1/14/19. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Damian Lillard - PG, @ SAC ($9,400)

After narrowly losing to the Nuggets on Sunday, the Blazers will head to Sacramento for the second part of their back-to-back. Lillard was productive despite the loss to Denver, finishing the night with 26 points and seven assists while only turning the ball over twice. He will have a promising matchup against a Kings team that isn't very strong defensively.

Donovan Mitchell - SG, vs. DET ($8,800)

Mitchell has shined since sliding into the one spot as a result of numerous injuries across the board for the Jazz. The sophomore guard has played well recently, averaging 47.48 fantasy points over the last five games. He should continue that same level of production, especially with the absence of Ricky Rubio, who isn't expected back for another few weeks.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Anthony Davis - PF, @ LAC ($12,700)

Davis has mauled the Clippers this season, averaging 28.5 points, 13 boards, four blocks, and two steals throughout two games. Though it will cost you a good amount to acquire his services, he is worth every penny, especially since Los Angeles doesn't have the artillery to stop him.

Gordon Hayward - SF, @ BKN ($5,200)

Marcus Smart and Kyrie Irving have been ruled out against Brooklyn, leaving the door open for Hayward to get some extra looks. While Irving was dealing with an eye issue that kept him out of action for two games at the start of the year, Hayward averaged nearly 42 fantasy points during that span. His magic number to hit his value against the Nets is 26, but it is not unreasonable to fathom that he could see fantasy numbers well beyond that mark on Monday night.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Al Horford - C, @ BKN ($6,700)

Not only will Horford see an uptick in production with the aforementioned injuries to Kyrie and Smart, but he will also be matched up against a Nets that that is absolutely atrocious in the middle, averaging a league-worst 62 fantasy points to opposing centers this season. Always remember, if a team is playing the Nets, take that center for your DFS lineup.
