FanDuel MLB DFS Lineup Picks (9/10/18): Daily Fantasy Baseball Advice

Dan Marcus highlights the top FanDuel MLB DFS lineup picks for 9/10/18, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

Hopefully you're entering the Monday slate a bit richer after another full weekend of baseball and the first week of NFL action in the books. There's a 10 game main slate, so get your lineups in. Some of my early favorite stacks include the Cubs and Brewers, but some other under the radar picks such as the Mets and Pirates could pay off on the slate.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 9/10/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

You can also read more DFS lineup picks for DraftKings and other sports too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me up on Twitter @DanMarcus3.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers

German Marquez - SP, vs. ARI ($9,000)

Marquez has proven that he is capable of pitching well at Coors, maintaining an ERA well below 3.00 when pitching there since the All-Star break. He’s also racked up strikeouts at an elite rate, posting greater than 9.0 K/9 in eight of his last 10 starts. At a $3,300 dollar discount compared to Corey Kluber, it’s difficult not to turn to Marquez.

Jakob Junis - SP, vs. CWS ($7,900)

Junis has gotten back on track of late, allowing only one home run in his last 38 innings pitched. Even with that run, he’s allowing 1.58 HR/9 on the season, which illustrates just how much he was being taken deep in other times of the season while also illuminating his risk. Over the past 30 days, the White Sox have posted a respectable .164 ISO as a team but have struck at a 26.1% rate -- the highlight of this matchup.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Anthony Rizzo - 1B, vs. MIL ($3,800)

Wade Miley has gotten by on smoke and mirrors to post respectable surface stats but that could change tonight. He’s earned a 1.13 K/BB ratio against left-handed batters this season and paired that with a 5.91 xFIP. While it would be more exciting to get Rizzo at Milwaukee for the friendliness to left-handed hitters, he’s still a good option at first base. That’s especially true if the wind is blowing out at Wrigley.

Cesar Hernandez - 2B, vs. WAS ($2,400)

While Hernandez has slugged just .333 since the All-Star break, he’s found ways to remain productive by being active on the basepaths and benefitting from team context. The Phillies could be in for a nice offensive night with Erik Fedde facing off against them, and his price is advantageous.

Todd Frazier - 3B, vs. MIA  ($3,200)

Frazier has flashed plenty of power, slugging .469 in 128 post All-Star break at-bats. He’ll draw a matchup against Jeff Brigham -- an admittedly relatively unknown commodity -- which should be a matchup to target on the slate. Frazier is still reasonably priced, and as a result is a nice play at third base.

Trevor Story - SS, vs. ARI ($4,400)

Story has popped off multi-homer games twice in the past week at home. While he gets a tough matchup against Zack Godley, Story is priced below the elite players on the slate but carries similar -- if not higher -- upside.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Ryan Braun - OF, @ CHC ($3,200)

Jon Lester has allowed 1.94 HR/9 in the second half of the season, with some expected regression kicking in. Meanwhile, Braun has hit lefties well all season by slugging .535 against them in 114 at-bats and has also slugged .507 across the last 30 days.

Jordan Luplow - OF vs. STL ($2,100)

Luplow is nice punt target as he should see regular at-bats with Gregory Polanco out for the season. While Adam Frazier has been hot, his price has ballooned to $3,700. The Pirates draw a matchup against a watered down Adam Wainwright, making Luplow’s .222 ISO an interesting pivot option assuming he is in the lineup.

Also Consider: Kyle Schwarber - OF, vs. MIL ($3,000)
