FanDuel DFS Pitchers

Max Scherzer - P, vs TB ($12,000)

Scherzer has been throwing at an elite level this season, recording a 9-1 record with a 1.92 ERA and a 0.85 WHIP through 12 starts. He also boasts a 0.7 HR/9 to go along with a 13.6 K/9. He has recorded double digit strikeouts in four of his last five games, and he gets a great matchup against the Tampa Bay Rays tonight. Scherzer can safely be used in all leagues.

Sean Newcomb - P, at SD ($8,900)

Newcomb has quietly been throwing well over his last 10 starts, posting a 6-0 record with a 2.16 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP over that span. He has also recorded a 0.3 HR/9 and a 9.0 K/9 in those games. He gets a good matchup against the San Diego Padres in a pitcher friendly stadium. Newcomb is also a -129 favorite in a game set at only 7 runs. He's a great option for a lower price tag.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Mitch Moreland - C/1B, vs DET ($3,300)

Moreland has looked outstanding in Boston this season. Through 20 home games, he's hitting .348 with a .681 slugging percentage and a 1.089 OPS. He has also posted a 62.5% extra-base hit rate at home. Moreland gets a great matchup, and he is a huge part of one of the best offenses on the slate.

Jed Lowrie - 2B, at TEX ($3,500)

Lowrie has been playing at a high level this season, and he has been a better hitter on the road. He's hitting .313 with a .557 slugging percentage and a .941 OPS away from home. He has also found quite a bit of success against the Texas Rangers this season, and Lowrie gets an elite matchup against Matt Moore. He has cooled off a bit recently, but Lowrie can still be used in all leagues.

Adrian Beltre - 3B, vs OAK ($2,700)

Beltre comes with a low price tag, but he's hitting over .300 over his last 10 games. He also features 0.076 wOBA and 0.015 ISO differentials against left-handed pitching. Beltre gets a matchup against Sean Manaea, who has struggled against right-handed batters, as well. Beltre has been a safe option with solid upside recently.

Nick Ahmed - SS, at SFG ($2,500)

Ahmed is an option that can always be considered against left-handed pitching. He possesses 0.13 wOBA and 0.156 ISO differentials against lefties. He gets a tough matchup against Madison Bumgarner, but Ahmed will be hitting near the top of the Diamondbacks lineup. He does come with some risk, but he's a great leverage play tonight.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Andrew Benintendi - OF, vs DET ($4,700)

Benintendi has been playing at an absurd level over his last 10 games, recording a .385 average in those games. He has also recorded nine extra-base hits (four home runs), 12 RBIs, and one steal over that span. Furthermore, Benintendi has been an elite hitter against right-handed pitching in Boston.

Khris Davis - OF, at TEX ($3,600)

Davis is a powerful player that has recorded 50% hard-hit and fly ball rates over the last 15 days. He has also posted a 94 mph exit velocity over that span. Davis gets an elite matchup against Matt Moore tonight, although he has been a better option against right-handed pitching. Still, Davis is a great option for a reasonable price tag.
